A: I always have an eye on the future. Not as in always looking ahead, by in the possibilities of where technology is headed and the potential it has to make our lives better. I enjoy my philanthropic work and I feel that this focus makes me successful, even if something doesn’t work. I always move on to the next project. I never let failure or doubt cripple my big picture ideas. Q: What has been your most satisfying moment in business? A: Essentially, philanthropy is a business unto itself, because it’s a serious pursuit for me. So, I would have to say my most satisfying moment was having the funding to donate $500,000 to SENS. I honestly feel that we are on the brink of making huge medical advancements to help prevent disease and improve the quality of life for those who are suffering. My donation has helped the SENS Research Foundation fund research essential to advancing the future of medicine and anti-aging processes. E: I am certainly using Peace Corps service as a time of meditation to decipher what it is that I want to do in the next stage of life. I have pondered many avenues: medical school, nursing school, physicians assistant school. I will wait and see where my heart leads me through my Peace Corps service. I have aspirations to return to a part of the world in need after more schooling. I have been blessed with a great life so far that has given me a great opportunity for education and I want to continue to pay back the debt that I owe for an opportunity like this. I feel that I will perpetually be in a field of service helping those who have little opportunity and access to help themselves.
Because of this holistic take on the world, I have always immersed myself in plans that support the aid of both my local community and the international community. As President of the Abbey Park Student Council, I have spearheaded and organized various efforts to fundraise and support various initiatives such as the Canadian Cancer Society and Kicks for Change at a local level, and Doctors Without Borders at an international level, where we raised a total of $50,000
As a Novant Junior Volunteer, I learned the “behind the scenes” work of the hospital. From learning how tests are performed to what is done with the results immediately after is fascinating. It was interesting to see how a branch of biology can be viewed by different lenses, depending on your specialty.
I hope that by sharing my personal statement, I have been able to give you an insight into the person I am and what I hope to achieve. Social media may have started out as a small marketing tactic, but soon grew to revolutionize the way businesses can create brands, expand businesses, and interact with consumers for the better.
I am personally grateful for the selfless individuals who committed and worked incessantly to keep the idea of helping individuals alive even when it was hard to see the beauty in it all. If it was not for organizations like these ones, I do not know if my mom would be here today. I whole heartedly believe that these organizations are life changers!

I owe my parents for all the years they have spent rearing me. I need to be able to support them, just as they have supported me and I intend to do just that.

When a person mentions marketing, my first thoughts used to be limited to social media (Facebook, Twitter), mailers (postcards, flyers), coupons, radio ads, newspapers, and other ways of advertising. Marketing is complex in that there are many factors to consider and many different avenues to pursue. One has to have a marketing concept, that is, a desire to satisfy the customer’s needs

I believe the University Of Texas at Austin is the right path to challenge myself further. Taking real life IT experience into the class room will also enable me to be a better classmate.
My personal vision of the future is not something I have taken a significant amount of time to ponder in the past. I have general ideas of where I see myself both personally and professionally in future but have not identified specific steps to get there or pondered why I want to be in that situation. When taking on this somewhat daunting task of identifying my future self it is important to identify my driving values, philosophy, dreams, and my personal calling. Self-reflection on these characteristics and preferences are key to a developing a successful picture of the future.
