“Despite all the trouble I truly believe there are still good in people” one of the many quotes by Anne Frank.
Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl, who grow up during the Holocaust. Anne was a very educated girl. During her time of hiding, she constantly wrote in her diary. Soon after her death, her farther (Mr.Frank) soon published her Diary calling it “The Diary of a young girl.”
The holocaust was a very tragic event in Jewish history. During this time, Adolf Hitler captured jews and brought them into concentration camps. This is why Anne and her family went into hiding. “You could not do this and you could not do that. They forced farther out of his business. We had to wear yellow stars. Yesterday farther told me we were going into hiding. Where, he wouldn’t say. At five o’clock this morning mother woke me and told me to hurry and get dressed. I was to put on as many clothes as I could. It would look too suspicious if we walked along carrying suitcases. It wasn’t until we were on our way that I learned where we were going. During the Time of the Annex Anne had very little privacy. One day Anne desperately wanted to use her desk in her room. But Dussel continuously refused to give it up. Anne soon told Mr.Frank that Dussel wasnt saring the Desk, like he was suppose too.
There was also very limited physical activity inside the Annex. “To be perfectly safe. From eight in the morning until six in the evening we must move only when it necessary, and then in stocking feet. We must not speak above a whisper. We must not run any water.
