How do you feel about illegally killing animals? This is a big concern that needs more attention. I believe the laws need to be enforced even more than they are and more preserves need to be made. There are many ways you can help to fix the problem slightly. If a lot of people are helping all of the small improvements can make a huge difference. Poaching is the illegal killing of wildlife, in violation of local, state, federal or international law. Activities that are considered poaching include killing an animal out of season, without a license, with a prohibited weapon, or in a prohibited manner. Killing a protected species, exceeding one's bag limit or killing an animal while trespassing is also considered to be poaching. One such reason is the consequences are not that severe. One poacher was fined in South Africa for poaching rhinos he was fined for $100,000 but each rhino horn is worth $30,000 per pound so he still makes money even though he was fined. Wildlife rangers are killed by poachers as well as the animals. When animals are poached it also affects the environment. It interferes with the food chain, it causes the population of the animals that are eaten or that eat the poached animal to increase or decrease this in return affects other plants and animals. My last reason to care about poaching is that poachers are not justified at all, they kill to make money or they make claims that are not remotely true such as saying that they have special medical properties when they
