Much like the past, females today are frowned upon for acts that males are praised for. In which, a man can go to the beach and take his shirt off, but if a woman does it she’s called names. Although, some may argue that females have breasts and men don’t; were is the equality in that? Some may believe something so little as that may be irrational, but when were men being paid more than women rational or men being allowed to have more sexual partners?
On day I was on Instagram; a popular app many people use and there was this post with a little boy having sexual relations with a grown woman. So many males commented and embraced this little boy for “smashing” as they say, his babysitter. Men have a better chance at receiving a job then women do simply because it is seen as men are workers and women are supposed to do the house work. Many people can’t accept women as leaders and the men to be followers. According to experienceproject.com only 9 women are CEOs of big companies. Men find women who make more than them or have a better job than them intimidating.
In the media men have a high upholding then women. With women its “women in politics” as if it’s uncommon. Women in politics have to fight their way to be heard when men just come in with no chaos. When a woman expresses her opinion she knowns as bossy or overbearing. If it’s a man expressing his thoughts it’s known as he is taking care of business and he is assertive.
Women still have a long way to go for us to gain the equality that we desire, which is our right. Women make so much of a difference in the world for us to be thought as, as just women.
