Over the last century climate change has become more threatening to the globe than ever before. Before Industrialization climate change was never a problem because the earth could naturally balance the effect of greenhouse gasses through natural carbon sinks. But now because of human added emissions to the atmosphere, the globe is experiencing climate change at its highest levels. Although most scientists can confirm that climate change is a real thing, most of the populating is doubtful on whether climate change is actually happening. Regardless of what the majority of people believe the globe is prepared to cut their losses on climate change and work towards a better future. Climate change is going to continue is disastrous course if nothing is put in place to limit green house gasses. The largest contributor to carbon emissions is the use of fossil fuels but some countries are looking to limit their fossil fuel emissions and make the switch to renewable energy sources. According to Steve Cohen of the Huffington Post in his article Renewable Energy With Or With Out Climate Change, the globe continues to drill for oil and use fossil fuels because the idea of limiting their emissions and then in turn affecting their quality of life is not pleasing. Countries around the globe are positioning themselves to make the switch to alternative energy such as solar, nuclear, wind, and tidal energy. But unfortunately improvements in climate change are going to require large scale alternative energy solutions. Solar Power is the most abundant resource on the planet, this makes it easier to reduce carbon emissions. Although solar power is the most abundant it is not all able to harvest, and that which is able is extremely expensive.
