Is honesty really the best quality? The government doesn’t believe so, they have been denied the existence of Area 51 for decades now until the about a year ago. Area 51 is a conspiracy magnet in which they say there are aliens, alien weapons, and a UFO parking lot.
Area 51 was built in 1955 as a base for the U-2 spy plane. It’s located is 83 miles away from North Las Vegas. It was supposed to be temporary, it became permanent (Knapp). Area 51 was official confirmed in 2013(10 things…). Area 51 was originally known as Paradise Ranch (10 things…), but has been changed multiple times, but now it’s known as Area 51. In March of 2000, pictures of Area 51 came out on the internet (Manning). After 13 years of the images publicly coming out on the internet the C.I.A confirmed the existence of Area 51 in a report about a spy plane, it said that they tested the spy plane at an air force next to Groom Lake.     What really happened over the summer in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico? People have debated this topic countless times. Despite all of the deviations of what happened, there is a general timeline. Sometime during the months of June and July 1947, an aircraft landed in Mac Brazel’s ranch; Brazel proceeded to tell Sheriff George Wilcox. He sent a member of the Roswell Army Air Field base to look at the wreckage on Brazel’s ranch. This person took some of the debris back to the base for further inspection. On July 8, 1947, the newspapers published stories about how someone found a flying saucer in New Mexico. However, the government told the newspapers to report that it was merely a weather balloon that had crashed. After that, everybody simply accepted the story and dropped the topic. Throughout that story, many pieces of evidence went untold to the media. There were numerous pictures that went unreleased. Many affidavits went unnoticed and nobody paid attention to inconsistencies in the government’s justifications.
