College has been around for many years. Many students are expected to attend college but are not required to do so. With different determinations, people go to college in search for better futures, however college is not free at all. Some college students pay out of pocket for their tuition and others are lucky enough to get it payed for. It is all based on your social status and income. While in college you face several issues that may interfere your career. You are never aware for what to expect next in your life nor do you have time to prepare yourself for the worst.

In one of her paragraphs she states that Finland's goal was to have a good public education for every child regardless of where they go to school, or what kind of families they come from, but that many thought it couldn't been done(Partanen 982). However, according to the article, “ It is possible to create equality.” Although it would be great to have an education system like that in Finland, Anu Partanen forgot to mention the difference of diversity there is in both places. Finland is based on majority of the same race unlike America, every state has a variety of different cultures and race. From rich to poor to white and hispanics. Not everyone stands on the same page and would hardly be impossible to make everything equal. However, I agree with Anu Partanen, that it is possible to create equality. Not everyone is given the same opportunity to attend a good public school because of the area you live in. It might be an area of low income families in comparison to the area where all the nice and rich people houses are. When it comes time to attend college you are faced with the tragedy of tuition fees.
