Antihistamines help to reduce or block histamines, so they stop allergy symptoms – they can also cause unwanted side effects. Not all of the effect will occur, nor will they all be serious unless you have an underlying conditions requiring medical attention when taking this drug. Before you start taking the medication, be sure to talk to your doctor, since different active ingredients can cause a harmful response.
