Amelia walks into the small, hospital for the creatures in the forest. The loud cries of the creatures echoed through the halls and made her heart churn. She walked into the room where the weeping dragon was being held. She caressed her hand down its face, her eyes began to water as she thought of all of the creatures Margaret had been hurting. She looked out the window everything was bright and colorful, it is summer. The weather is always perfect, the water is always a bright blue. You could see creatures flying in the air, enjoying the breeze. Some were drinking water from the rivers, everything was great. Amelia always loved to watch and care for all the creatures. She has always been a very kind person and had a good heart. As she looked …show more content…
“I’m upset to hear that, I feel heart broken for the creatures myself” said the mortal. Amelia walked next to them and explained to them about how she helps care for the animals that Margaret is hurting and how she never trusts in herself to to tell Margaret that what she is doing is wrong. They then continued to walk back to the hospital so Amelia could show the pixie and mortal all the creatures that Margaret has hurt. They arrived at the hospital and Margaret was gone. They walked inside and right as they did the pixie and mortal could hear the sounds of the weeping …show more content…
“Oh the poor thing!” cried the pixie. Amelia walked to the animal and grabbed a bandaid to cover one of the wounds. “I don’t know what to do an order to make Margaret stop” said Amelia. “The only thing you can do is talk to her, or else she will continue to hurt them” said the mortal. “I need help though because like I said before, everytime I try I get scared and, it just goes bad” Amelia cried. “I can’t do much i’m so tiny and im basically a creature myself” said the fairy. “Yeah and i’m only good for being strong but I can’t do much either, you are the only one who has a chance at making Margaret quit” said the mortal. “I just can’t” cried Amelia. “We’ll be right there with you and be “backup”” said the mortal. Amelia agreed to go talk to Margaret. Amelia whispered into the dragons ear “I’ll be back soon.” Amelia walked out of the hospital and the pixie and mortal followed her. “ I dont even know where she is” said Amelia. It was already getting dark out, but they continued to hunt for Margaret. “I’m getting kinda tired” said Amelia. The other two agreed, so they found a grassy area and layed down. They all fell
Antigone, The Brave Antigone, a story written by Sophocles, is about a young woman, Antigone, choosing whether she will not bury her brother, Polyneices, to not break the law or disobey Creon’s law and bury him; however choosing to bury her brother does not derail her moral development. Kohlberg’s Theory of Moral Development is three levels consisting of two stages in each. Kohlberg’s Theory explains how a human’s mind morally develops.
The character must decide whether or not to allow the employee’s cousin to work in their restaurant. The cousin must provide for his family through the cold winter or they will become homeless. The character also knows that the law requires him to check the citizenship of all employees and forbids him to hire anyone who is in the country illegally.
When she was a little girl, she understood the unequal between a man and a woman, and she dreamed of a day when things would be different. As she grew up, Amelia worked hard to make her dream come true. Amelia developed her personality by looking for adventure. She pledged to the boldness. She felt sad when she discovered there were the heroes of boys’ books, but not for girls in the library; however, when she read about a story of a courageous man, she wished that happened to her someday. So her teacher remarked of her, “Strive to get
Creon a new king of Thebes, demanded that Antigone shall not bury her brother Polyneices and yet she buried him anyway. Creon thinks that Polyneices is a betrayer and he did not deserve to be buried and should be fed to the animals. Antigone follows orders from the gods, but she does not seem to listen to Creon's laws. This causes Antigone to hang herself and her husband after that, hangs himself too. The only one left of her family is her sister who escapes the curse, but she has to deal with the suffering of her family. After hearing about her son’s death, Eurydice(Creon’s wife) kills herself too. In the end the chorus learned that Creon made a mistake not letting Antigone bury her brother. On page 55 it says, “Future is in greater hands.” This is saying your fate can not be changed and your fate is chosen before you are even
Antigone has defied the king's edict. However, the edict says that her brother, Polynices, cannot be given a proper burial. The reason given for this is that Polynices is a traitor. Antigone's uncle, Creon, the king, makes this edict after many events happen. Antigone says herself that she has experienced "no private shame, no public disgrace, nothing" that cannot be experienced (Antigone, p. 658).
In Sophocles’ Antigone, Antigone saw her action of burying her brother as a just one. It may not have been just in the eyes of Creon and the people of Thebes, but she was not concerned with the laws that mortals had made. Antigone saw the divine laws of the gods to be much more important than those of mortals. She felt that if she died while upholding the laws of the gods, that her afterlife would be better than if she had not. Our lives on this earth are so short, that to see a good afterlife over the horizon will make people go against the laws of humans.
She felt unimpressed and violated by how the vegetable owner treats his assistant. She went to the vegetable’s owner house and got revenge for the assistant who is badly treated by him. I can feel the kindness from this scene that she respects people. In the bathroom she switches the foot cream with the toothpaste, cuts the owner shoelaces, and changes his door lock. I felt funny while watching this scene until it get more funnier when the vegetable owner comes home to find the differences. One part is when he was brushing his teeth to found out it wasn’t toothpaste and he was locked up in his restroom. I felt he deserve this treatment and that Amelia did the right
Tragedy of Antigone The play “Antigone” by Sophocles displays many qualities that make it a great tragedy. A tragedy is defined as a dramatic or literary work in which the principal character engages in a morally significant struggle ending in ruin or profound disappointment. In creating his tragedy “Antigone”, Sophocles uses many techniques to create the feelings of fear and pity in his readers. This, in turn, creates an excellent tragedy.
The curse of Oedipus lingers over the city of Thebes. Antigone as the daughter of Oedipus and Creon as the new king of Thebes are put on a path towards a unavoidable and terrible fate. Antigone is fated to reach a terrible end, because of the curse of her father Oedipus. Creon is fated to reach a terrible end, because he is putting his law above the law of the gods and he has too much excess pride. The tragedy in Antigone is unavoidable, because it is Antigone fate to die, because of her father’s sins and it is Creon’s fate to suffer for going ahead of the gods with his excess pride.

Angelica sat down on her bed. She guarded herself so carefully, but now she was raw and exposed. The gates were open. The tears wouldn’t stop. She cried so hard her chest burned. All those years of confusion, loneliness, guilt, regret and love teased a memory from her jumbled mind.
Monstrous clouds covered the lights of the sky. The water was motionless as the rabbits road peacefully down the river. Oak trees had leaves with varying colors from red to green. The rabbits stayed silent, not wanting to draw attention to themselves on the boat. Suddenly, Pipkin whispered, “Tell us a story Dandelion.” In response, Dandelion said, “Sure, I can tell you a story.”
