In America, many have come to recognize Iran as a terrorist nation, but in reality, many Americans stereotype Iranians because they misunderstand the country and how it got to that point. Quite possibly one of the most iconic openings in cinematic history is “A Long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” Of course, I am referring to Star Wars. It is such a fascinating and great movie going experience. There have been a total of seven Star Wars films, but in this essay I am going to be focusing on Star Wars: Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith. This film was written and directed by George Lucas and of the science fiction genre. Revenge of the Sith was released in theaters on May 19, 2005.
My poster contains images that I used to give a very brief imagery of Dr. Paul Farmer’s life. In the center I put a large photo of him so someone could see his full facial appearance. I put the logos for Duke University and Harvard University to show where he went for his schooling. I put Duke’ logo on blue construction paper to represent the school’s blue colors, and I put Harvard’s logo on red construction paper for the same reason. I put a quote on the bottom-right of the poster, because I feel this quote represents a general mentality of Dr. Paul Farmer. I put two pictures of Farmer treating Haitian patients, because the majority of his life’s work is treating poor people in Haiti. I put the picture of Haitian hands holding a cross to represent the religious belief of Haitians. Many of Farmer’s patients had trouble
Quinn was helping Steve fight Ultron by teleporting back and forth until she could hit the few bots that came, out of the quick moving train. It wasn't until Steve was knocked down when Pietro had ran into the train hitting Ultron and Wanda appeared after. Wanda had used her powers holding up a gate so Ultron could not get Quinn, Steve, or Pietro. One of the bots had knocked Quinn down, so she was on the floor in between seats when Pietro and Wanda had appeared. "Please. Don't do this." Ultron pleaded as he realized that the twins were now against him. "What choice do we have." Wanda said, and Quinn felt a bit more safe when she realized Pietro and Wanda were there now on her side. Ultron sent a blast to Pietro, which he blocked, shattering

“The Mission” is based on a true story that occurred around the borderlands of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil in the years 1750’s according to the film and history. The Treaty of Madrid of 1750 with the Spanish and Portuguese caused both havoc and death for the people of the Guarini and the members of the Jesuits. The Jesuits, members of the church, tried to bring Christianity and civilization to the natives while keeping at peace with Spain and Portugal. The Jesuits were the teachers for the natives; Teaching them not only the Christian religion but also civilization. "…a visual image can let us escape from the boundaries of traditional representations. At the same time, however, the visual image is somewhat concrete; it serves as a symbol for a theory that has not yet bee...
The famous age-old saying, “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words,” is the secret that lies behind why these posters were so powerful and successful in the first place. Even though we are looking at them many centuries later, we can still feel the impact and experience the intended effects of their depictions. As Americans, many have been exposed to a range of American war posters through various means such as a school history books.
Movie posters are a way to grab people’s attention and a way to make profit. Some posters are funny, some romantic, mysterious, terrifying, or informing. No two movie posters are the same. Grabbing someone’s attention with a poster can be tricky. The colors, scenery, words, actors, together will see what makes a person want to attend a movie. “The Blood of the Vampire”is the poster that I chose to describe.
