James Madison wrote federalist paper number 10 to discuss the damage and violence caused by factions. Factions are known as a group of individuals who discuss their political opinions and encourage their economic interests. Factions are unavoidable being that we as humans have different opinions and different beliefs, we tend to associate with people who are most alike us. This federalist paper was written because even though these factions have conflict between each other, they repeatedly are against the public opinion and violate the right of others.
