I. Executive Overview A. The reader should come away from this section with knowledge of what you are proposing and why your plan will work. 1. Be Healthy & Alive is a non-profit organization which focuses on promoting physical activity among the adult population. I, Danielle Richardson is the founder of the organization. After numerous of interactions with the diverse adult population, it sparked my attention that adults do not engage in physical activity as often as they should, therefore this program will aim towards that. 2. Currently, Be Healthy & Alive is qualified for educating the general public about various health topics. Provide an explanation of your intended intervention. 1. Goal: Adults will specify their need for physical activity. 2. Objective: By the second week of the program, 100% of the participants will understand the importance of physical activity in any lifestyle. 3. Goal: Adults will incorporate physical activity in their daily agendas at least 3x a week for 30minutes. 4. Objective: In the beginning of the program, participants will be given a daily exercise log, by the middle of the course at least 50% will show that they are exercising 3x a week for at least 30 minutes. 5. Goal: Adults will overall feel confident and motivated. 6. Objective: Upon completion of the program, 100% participants will have a 5-day workout plan and will recommend this program to a family member or friend. 7. Overview the project that will contain your intervention Be Healthy & Alive will be a10 week program which will accept 15 adult participants, who are willing to dedicate themselves into a healthier atmosphere. The participants must show willingness to change old behaviors, and accept constructive criticism from staff. The program will be held Monday-Thursday from 5-7:30pm. There will be various lessons covered, just to name a few: physical activity 101, first steps to changing a bad behavior, benefits of physical activity and so much more. Be Healthy & Alive is a Health Communication Intervention. 2. Be Healthy & Alive offers various ways to incorporate and increase physical activity into inactive physical activity lifestyles. 3. The exercise log will be effective because it will show participants progress over a ten-week period. B. Suggest any unique characteristics of your product or service that make it particularly effective. IV. Strategies A. Position 1. Imaging: Be Healthy & Alive would like to illustrate determination, hopefulness, strength and worthiness. No matter your age, there is always a way to make your body feel healthy and alive again. 2. Distinctiveness: The unique selling points will be the personal trainers who will help educate the participants. B. Product 1. Features: healthy weight, self-esteem, better looking appearance. 2. Necessity: What is the importance to your target audience? How does it meet a need? The importance of the adult participants is to get them to understand that chronic diseases are serious and if developing a new healthy habit, they could potentially add harm to their bodies. C. Price 1. Price: What prices will you will charge? Each participant will pay $50.00 to be in the 10-week program.
