Even though she was as sweet as a kitten, she wanted the other children to feel the same pain. Margot was hoping people wouldn’t be awkward near her. She wanted the respect that all the other children got. “Guys, I don’t feel so well,” Margot complained. All the children thought they had done something wrong to make her feel unwell. A few moments later, Margot passed out on the floor very quickly. “Guys, what do we do?” William asked. “Quick, tell the nearest adult!” a child shouted loudly. “Teacher, Margot passed out!” William screamed at the top of his lungs. “Oh my goodness, call the hospital!” the teacher declared loudly. The children were in a hurry to get on the phone with the hospital; they were a herd of cows going back to the barn. A few minutes later, they arrived. They checked her heartbeat, and there was no pulse. “Did she go in the sun today?” the parameter asked. “No,” William replied. “Well, why didn’t she?” the paramedic questioned. The children couldn’t evoke a response. They knew that it was all their fault that Margot had died. “Now the sun won’t be out for seven years,” the teacher stated. “Wait a minute,” he said.
