Albert Einstein’s Contributions to Mathematics

Albert Einstein is known to be one of the most intelligent people of our era. He

thought of things that were unheard of in many fields, and mathematics is no exception.

Einstein soared in mathematics, by the time he was 15 he had a suburb grasp on calculus.

He personally devised the general theory of relativity, which is the geometric theory of

gravitation. Not to mention Einstein was a world class physicist, and also came up with

the famous mass-energy equivalence, otherwise known by the expression “E = mc2”.

Last but not least he took a major part in developing the quantum theory.

Einstein was born in 1879 in Ulm, a small town in the Kingdom of Württemberg.

Growing up in the German Empire, Albert and his family were non-observant Jews. His

father, Hermann Einstein, was an engineer and salesman. While his mother, Pauline

Einstein was a stay at home mom, she spent all of her time caring for little Albert. In

1880 before Albert was even one year old, his family to Munch Germany. There his

father and uncle would found a company that manufactured electrical equipment,

Elektrotechnische Fabric J. Einstein 7 Cie. He attended a small catholic elementary

school, but when he was eight, his teachers recognized his potential. He was immediately

transferred to Luitpold Gymnasium. Einstein was placed in an advanced primary and

secondary schooling program where he would stay until he left the country in 1894. The

urban legend that Einstein struggled with simple speech at a young age, is completely

false. Contrary to that belief, the Albert Einstein archives suggest he excelle...

Albert Einstein was one of the most intellectuly advanced men to ever walk the earth. He was moddest and humble in everything he did. Going from country to country, college to college, Einstein inspired many young minds to strive for greatness. His accomplishments included the famous expression E = mc2, winning a Nobel Peace Prize, the theory of realativity, and vast discoveries in physics. This discoveries included information on light, energy, time, and gravity. Einstein hated war and encoureged freedom in a time when communism was on the rise. Albert Einstein was a truly astounding man.
