My car came to a stop as I pulled into the driveway of my very first client. I entitled the role of a customer service sales representative. Walking up to the home of my good friend Steven Bluse, I would never have imagined meeting the one man that changed my entire perspective on goals. They called him by the name AL Holloway. The man shared an inspiring outlook on life with me. Meeting with the Holloways was one of the most remarkable moments I can remember. As I marched towards their house, I was not ready to sit down and spend an hour discussing cutlery with a man whom I had no knowledge about. This was only because I was so nervous to meet them. I was honestly worried about if they would buy the product? Now first off, you should know that Mr. Holloway was not similar to any 60 year old man. AL Holloway grew up in a children’s home not knowing his parents. At the age of 30, he experienced the worst pain imaginable. This is when he first started developing heart issues. Mr. Holloway was required to go through various surgeries and take an extensive amount of morphine just to stop his pain. Because of all the morphine, Al Holloway experienced a stroke, which put him in a state where he could die at any minute. Over living the stroke, AL Holloway required more surgeries and morphine to lessen the pain he felt. …show more content…

Holloway received a heart pump to help his heart disease. As a result of the heart pump, Al Holloway could no longer perform tasks involving water because of how it could kill him, even though he loved being in the water. In addition to not be allowed in water, AL Holloway gained more pain which stopped him from walking long distances and standing for a long time. The pain he was experiencing now escalated to a new level. As a result, Al takes an extra dose of morphine to diminish his pain.
