"I am a serial killer. I would kill again." That quote was said by the infamous serial killer Alieen Wournos. Aileen was a serial killer native to Michigan (where I was born) and moved to Florida (where I live now). However, she moved for a reason and I will explain why. Aileen Wournos was born February 29th , 1956 in Rochester, Michigan. She died on October 9th , 2002 in Starke Florida at 9:47am. Now this may sound like a normal death but it was anything but, she was executed in the Florida State Prison. She was actually the 2nd female ever to be executed and the 13th woman to be executed since 1816. Aileen Wournos was born to a single teenaged mom who was struggling to survive with her children with no job and little help from family. Aileen believed that for the first time she had found "love". Tyria soon became obsessed with Wournos and promised to keep them together no matter the circumstances. Aileen provided money by giving herself a promotion and becoming a full time highway hooker, focusing on businessmen and truckers. Aileen often carried a gun in her purse while working her shift. On November 30th, 1989, Wournos was picked up by 51 year old Richard Mallory. Mallory was a convicted rapist according to Florida record. On December 13th Mallory's "bullet riddles body" was found and the only person who knew the sole truth was Aileen Wournos. To this day the truth about all 7 murders will never be known. According to Aileen, every time one of her victims/customers had raped or beaten her and she shot them out of self defense. She cleaned out their wallets as well as their cars of money and then made a feeble attempt to cover up the murders and vehicles.
