Are you familiar with the Holocaust? Well if you are, you have probably heard of Adolf Hitler. Some say he could have been the most wicked person in the world. Others however, believed he was a hero. Hitler was a determined and dominating leader in Germany from 1934-1945. He did not let anything stand in his way, and if something did, he would destroy it. Adolf Hitler had a major impact on the Holocaust and the history of Germany; He completed inhumane acts throughout his life, but that is what led him to his ultimate goal, power.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 to Aiois Hitler and Kiara Polzl along with 5 other siblings. Hitler lived in Braunau am Inn, Austria as a child. Hitler was mischievous as a kid. He sent them to concentration camps for death and execution. The Nazi’s believed it was a crime and a disease to be identified as such. The concentration camps were set up all around Germany for the victims who had gotten arrested and caught by the Nazi’s. Hitler never did visit the concentration camps, or speak publicly about the mass killings, but the Germans did document the concentration camps to view.
September 1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland, and sparked the start of World War II. Soon after, France declared war on Germany. In 1940, Hitler led Germany to invade Norway, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Unfortunately, Hitler invaded the Soviet Union, and ruined the non-aggression pact. Even worse for Hitler, Japan attacks Pearl Harbor in the U.S., which he is allied with, against Great Britain and the Soviet Union.
