What is Abortion? Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. Or a more political way of describing abortion is, the intentional termination of a pregnancy after conception. Giving women the right to conscientiously put an end to their pregnancies, in essence, is allowing them to kill the undeveloped embryo (fetus), which makes it a very controversial subject in American politics.
I disagree with abortion. I think that no matter when you terminate, it is still killing a possible life; a life that is not theirs to give. Pro-life advocates, as well as many scientists, feel life starts at conception. If this is the case, abortion is akin to murder, which is the act of taking a human life. In our country, the rights of all humans are protected, which should be extended to include the unborn child who cannot speak for itself. And those who intentionally harm or take the life of another human, should bear some responsibility or punishment. When a woman is responsible enough to “make” the child, she should be required to live with the ensuing consequences and give birth to that child, otherwise, face punishments equal to those who kill another as a drunken driver in a car accident. Their bad decisions resulted in loss of a human life, and they need to be made accountable. On the flip side, abortion punishes the unborn child who committed no crime instead of the perpetrator who should be punished for their crime.
In the instance of rape and incest, proper medical care can ensure that a woman will not get pregnant. The Plan B, or Morning-After Pill, is also available to the general public through a doctor. This pill creates an environment inside the woman’s womb that makes it unable to host a fertilized egg, resulting ...

...ugh depression and have lasting scars of what they experienced, physically and emotionally. Mothers that give their children up for adoption are less likely to have that after affect. In a way of expressing this, was it easier to kill them instead of waving goodbye?
I strongly suggest we find a way to stop abortion. It is the killing of a human being waiting on his/her chance to live their life. What gives us the right to take that away from them? What a horrible mother that is. Just as child protection services would do for a born baby, we should do for a baby not yet given the chance to live.

Abortion is a very controversial and sensitive topic in today’s society. Two different sides to this argument is pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life proponents believe in the right to life for unborn fetuses saying that abortion should be considered murder regardless of how far along in the pregnancy the woman is. Pro-choice advocates people who believe the woman carrying the fetus should be able to make her own decision on aborting the fetus.
Abortion: the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus (Psychology in Action 10th ed.)
To those who are unaware of exactly what an abortion is; it is when a pregnant woman has a fetus removed from her womb. This can either happen by induced labor, or by an in office procedure where the woman is put under general anesthesia and the fetus is surgically removed. This procedure usually takes place under a few hours and the patient may be sent home that day.
Abortion is a procedure which allows the legal ending of a child’s life prior to birth. The debate and political fighting it sure to continue for years to come and complete abolition of abortion is far from a reality. However, strides are being made to swing he pendulum in the opposite direction that the Supreme Court sent it with the Roe v. Wade ruling.
Abortion refers to the termination of one’s pregnancy, resulting in the removal of one’s fetus to prevent it from being born. While the concept is simple enough, the crux of the argument lies in the morality of this procedure and whether or not a woman should be allowed to sacrifice a fetus to better her own life. Abortion must continue to be legalized in order to ensure that women have that choice.
When it comes to abortion I believe that it should always be left up to the woman to make the decision on whether to keep her baby or not. Having a baby is no eas...
Abortion, by definition, is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo, resulting in or caused by its death (Abortion). Abortion has been around for years, and is one of the top most discussed issues in America where approximately 1.3 million abortions performed each year (Jensen). In the United States, 9 out of 10 abortions are performed in the
As defined by the Merriam- Webster dictionary, abortion is “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by resulting in or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus as a spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during
“ Each year, nearly 1.2 million American women have an abortion to end a pregnancy.”(www.webmd.com) The personal and controversial topic that continue to be a debate in America. Abortion is one of the most controversial topics in today society. Many question should woman have the right to terminate her pregnancy, which is primarily known as abortion. Many argue that it is on humane to allow abortion, that abortion is almost like committing murder and not giving how the right to live. Many also argue that it is a woman 's right to choose whether or not she wants to have a child and no matter what it is her body and nobody else should be concerned with what she decides to do with her body. So now the question still remains should abortion be legal say I will be analyzing this topic in discussing my views on abortion, pro-life, and pro-choice. So what is abortion? Abortion according to Webster dictionary it is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate on abortion is an ongoing argument between the people who are pro-life and the people who are pro-choice. Personally, I believe in pro-life. How would you feel if someone took away your ability to live? Imagine not having a choice in whether or not you want to have a life. Well, babies do not have the ability to choose while they are in their mother’s womb. If a woman decides to abort her baby, the baby cannot do anything about their life being taken away. Their whole future is demolished and no one would ever know what have become of that child. I believe abortion is a wrong and selfish decision for the mother to make. The word abortion has become very common around the world, whether illegal or legal, it is not right.
Abortion has been a controversial topic in the U.S ever since it became legal in 1973 after the Roe v. Wade case. Abortion is defined as the, “the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.” Pro-life supporters believe that abortion is unethical and argue that it is the mother’s responsibility to own up to her actions. They also argue that there is always the option of adoption, and that abortion could be very dangerous. I am pro-life and believe that the government doesn’t have the right to decide what a woman can or can’t do with her body.
Abortion (a·bor·tion) - the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Whether it’s because the baby is the result of rape or they can’t financially support the baby, many women all around the world go through with an abortion, sometimes as a last resort. There are many abortion methods that include medical, surgical, and the injection of poison. Although the thought of abortion may seem like a terrible and gruesome thing to some people, it does have some benefits. It benefits the future of young adults who aren’t ready to have a child, and have their whole lives ahead of them. Also, it benefits the health of women whose bodies can’t handle carrying or giving birth to a baby.
Those who adamantly oppose abortion are regarded as pro-life and those who are supporters of abortion are considered pro-choice by contemporary standards. Even among those who advocate abortion, there are discrepancies in their views such as up until what point in the pregnancy is abortion morally permissible. In my opinion, abortion is morally permissible at any stage in a woman’s pregnancy. This is ethically acceptable because a woman should have the right to control what goes on within her body. Along with this, fetuses are still far from personhood (having the qualities of a human being); therefore, we cannot liken abortion to any variety of murderous activity.
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
Abortion is the killing and removing the fetus/ embryo before there is any possibilities of it surviving outside of the mother’s uterus. Abortion is the end of a pregnancy that is normally chosen by the mother, but is also known as a miscarriage. Abortions are mostly known as a surgical procedure, this is done multiple ways but all killing the fetus/ embryo. There is a variety of viewpoints on abortion such as through the religious tradition, also from seeing it as a crime to beneficial, this is an on-going debate about abortion.
