A Trip To Egypt
My name is Morgause, but you can call me Morgan. My family and I come from Egypt. An ancient land filled with mysteries and great ancient history of faros, tombs and buried treasure. I love Egypt, and mostly I miss it a lot. Now I live in Germany. My parents wanted to move here and they wanted me to study German. They never ever told me why, all they said was that that was their wish and I shouldn’t question it, and I didn’t, even though I wanted to know so badly.
My family was really close; we never kept secrets from each other. So the only thing on my mind was if they were keeping a something from me. Why would we ever move away from Egypt? Why did we have to move to Germany? Why did we have to move at all? Germany is a great place, but for the Germans. My mom loved Egypt too, so why did she sacrifice it to move here? It just couldn’t get off my mind. I’ve been thinking about it for weeks and weeks, but it seemed that I would never be able to figure it out.
This wasn’t my only problem. I don’t really like Germany; it’s a whole lot different from what I’m used to. Something keeps my heart and mind in Egypt- the ancient civilization. The Great Pyramid. It reminded me of the hard work the ancient Egyptians had to face on a daily bases, to build amazing things like that. I’ve always been interested in ancient history, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece; I just enjoy studying ancient times. I would like to visit Rome someday. I also love to travel. New and exciting places, and again, I love ancient cities and countries like Italy and Greece.
It’s my second year here in Germany. I have no idea how fast those 2 years passed by.
Germany is a pretty good place to live if you get used to it, but I can’t. I had a really hard time learning the language. German didn’t make any sense for me and my parents said that’ normal, but again I don’t think so.
I know this Egyptian girl at school; at least I think she’s Egyptian. She never talks to me, and when she’s with her friends, she ignores me completely. She’s a few years younger than me, but I never saw a 10 year old acting so snobby and mean.
Walking Across Egypt & nbsp; Mattie Rigsbee is the main character in Clyde Edgerton's southern-style novel, Walking Across Egypt. Mattie is a seventy-eight year old widow with two middle-aged children. Living alone in a small house, she makes sure that everything is taken care of. Although begins to display some signs of aging, and her family is trying to convince her to slow down her lifestyle, Mattie's character and mind setting prohibits her from becoming the stereotypical elder. She must make a decision on which direction to turn. "I'm too old to keep a dog," she says to the dogcatcher as he is leaving with a brown fice that showed up on her doorstep. "Besides, I'm slowing down," she says to her son during lunch.
In Ancient Egypt there were over 29 Kings and Pharaohs and over 5 Queens. Some of the most famous kings and queens were: Ramses II, Ramses III, King Tut, Cleopatra, and Nefertiti.
The question of paparazzi threatening privacy and First Amendment rights is often to situational to argue in a conventional manner, but certainly there are many facets of the issue which can be addressed in a quite straightforward manner. Celebrities who feel they have the right to privacy in public places often muddy the waters of this issue. Oddly enough, those celebrities who have chosen to speak out against what they feel are violations of their privacy most always begin their campaigns with a large press conference. In other words, they gather together those people they wish to not only suppress but also berate in hopes that these people will use their positions and skills to carry these celebrity's messages to the public. Is often seems that theses celebrities want it "both ways" in that they appreciate coverage when they have a movie, record, or book coming out, but not at any other time.
A few months before all of this I was pleased with my calm life in a local city of Taiwan. I settled there at the age of two with my family, and things were going well so far. Because I lived there for ten years, the longest time that I ever spent living in one place, I had made really good friends and was not looking forward to any significant changes although my mom had told me a long time ago, we might move to USA to settle with our uncle and grandma. My mom also told me that the other reason we move is for a better education and life there but I was not listening at that time. I thought she was just joking around because my brother and I have always expected to have a vacation to other countries. By the time I finished my first year of middle school I knew that this was nearly impossible. My family was already packing up, cleaning out the house, and reserving four airplane tickets to USA.
...uld be justifiable to emphasize that a good number of them find it sickening to miss the limelight. . Nonetheless, it goes without mentioning that celebrities get exploited because some gossip stories explore the things that would otherwise be considered to be private.

In May 2009, I was ready to leave my home in Brazil to study in the United States. A few days after arriving in America I started to take "summer classes" at West Virginia State University. Since then a lot has changed in my life as a person and as a student. I have made new friends in West Virginia and done well at my studies. I have changed majors which added an extra year to my studies. My grandmother passed away in 2010 when I was taking my finals during my second semester at school. And, in the same year one of my two nieces, Juliana, was born. Life was happening, and changes were taking place. I was so busy with my studies and adapting into the new routine that I forgot to consider that my country, Brazil, was going through transformations as well.

In the article “The Other Side of Fame” by Mary Loftus it explains that celebrities suffer from sex, drug abuse and addiction, and explains that certain things that can cause the celebrities to cope on that. It was a beautiful, sunny day in South Florida. I was six years old, playing by the pool with my new puppy. I loved swimming in the pool almost every day after school. I also enjoyed going out on our boat after school or crossing the street and going to the beach. My father came home one evening with some interesting news. Now, I do not remember exactly how I felt about the news at that time, but it seemed like I did not mind that much. He had announced that we were going to move back to my birth country, Belgium. I had been living in Florida for five years and it was basically all I had known so I did not know what to expect. I had to live with my mom at first, and then my sister would join us after she graduated high school and my father finished settling things. I remember most of my earlier childhood by watching some old videos of me playing by the pool and dancing in the living room. It seemed like life could not get any better. However, I was excited and impatient to experience a new lifestyle. I realized that I could start a whole new life, make new friends and learn a new language. Belgium was not as sunny as South Florida but it has much better food and family oriented activities. Geographic mobility can have many positive effects on younger children, such as learning new languages, being more outgoing, and more family oriented; therefore, parents should not be afraid to move around and experience new cultures.
Photographing an individual whether famous or not in public will not violate that person’s privacy under the laws in most countries. Assuming the paparazzi isn’t assaulting someone or trespassing or otherwise doing something illegal while taking such a picture, he or she will not be violating the law. Public figures do not ask for a total invasion of their privitness .Few of us lead lives that are not classified into a newsworthy. Just because these people contribute to their profession in front of the world, it does not mean that they should be denied the right to privacy and respect. Therefore Paparazzi should be banned from exposing people’s private lives, any way they want.
One of my greatest hobbies is travelling the globe and I love to see new places. I enjoy experiencing new environment and culture. There are many countries to visit around the world and each country has something unique to offer. In every country, there are many beautiful places to see and tradition to learn. However, the country I have always wanted to visit is Italy. Italy is located in Europe and it is famous for its ancient history, architectural heritage, culture and even food. It is my dream to visit Italy with my family one day.
