June 24th, 2014 at exactly 11:00 AM was the day after twelve years I went back to Bangladesh. Bangladesh the small country with a huge population of people. My family is not the type of family to go on many vacations but if there is a place where we have an opportunity to visit it would be Bangladesh. The country that made my family who they are now. After a long two day airplane ride I finally made it to the airport in Bangladesh. Stepping out of the airport, I can already feel the humid air sticking to my skin. Looking straight ahead I can see hundreds and hundreds of people holding onto a fence as if they were trapped inside of a prison. Coming out of the airport you expect the sensation of fresh air of where you arrived but sadly once I got out of the airport all I felt was filthy polluted …show more content…
We as a family decided to go on a trip to visit many places in Bangladesh such as Jafflong and the tea garden. If you think Myrtle beach is one of the most luxurious place to chill you are wrong. Look no further than Jafflong. One of the gorgeous places to visit. There is nothing better than feeling the hot, warm sand beneath your feet. Walking on the heavy sand is like walking on the Sahara desert. The water in jaflong is so pure and clean, it's like looking through a glass or mirror. The mountains on top of jaflong are as high if not higher than the towers in New York City. The amazing beach will make you want to stay there forever. If you are a fan of plants, the tea garden is located right around the corner. The tea garden is a place where people put in a lot of effort into. There is nothing greener than the tea garden. The garden is like a vast maze. You can easily get lost it in with your kids. Although Bangladesh is facing problems economically and politically. You can never take away the beauty the country possesses. Going back to my home country is always something that's special to

Shortly after my mother had entered fifth grade her father got orders to go to Lima, Peru to help on the military base there. Her family lived in a wonderful house just outside of town. In the beautiful house my mothers sisters and her made memories that they will never forget, like making mud pies out of sticks and mud. After two years of living in Lima they moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina for three years, and back to Lima for two years.

It was made abundantly clear to me after my previous post that the genocide of the Rohingya, even the existence of the Rohingya in general, is not common knowledge to most people. For this reason, I am beginning this post with a little bit of background on the situation. Myanmar, a country in southern Asia, was first colonized by Britain in 1886, after a series of violent wars between the native people and the colonizers. The Rohingya people are a Muslim minority located in the poor province of Rakhing on the western border of the country.

My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear

Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
