There are three things that are necessary in order for industrialization to succeed in a country. There must be enough suitable land and raw materials for the building of factories, enough people to work in these factories and create productivity, and there must be money to open factories, pay workers. The United States had recently acquired more land through expansion, and had many unemployed citizens ready to work. They had two of the three things it takes to have a successful Industrial Revolution. The third aspect they took advantage of. The workers during the Revolution were paid lower rages in order to avoid debt.
