The weather conditions must be examined.
You must plan your event with the possibility of rain or snow. Choose an alternate date or alternate inside locations for your event.

Consider other school activities that might affect your fundraiser.
For example, if it is exam week or the week before finals week, student will not have time to participate in any fundraising events.

My favorite part about the project was adding the formatting elements into the manual. I liked adding all the design elements, look for different pictures and choose fonts for the project.
If I had another month to work on the project, I would add more sections to my manual such as adding more fundraising ideas for school, for sports and church.

What were your goals for this project? Our goals for this project is to raise at least $100 for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but also to earn a good grade. We decide to choose St. Jude because Manuela personally has a one year old boy and she had commented that she saw a television commercial were a young boy was suffering from this horrible disease, but unfortunately lost his battle against cancer. We want create consciousness that with just donating 63 cents a day and $19 a month we can make a big difference, which you can help save a life of one of these children. As a non-profit organization, CHN relies on corporate, and TV/media partnerships to continue to provide the services they offer to the 170 children’s hospitals. These fundraisers are done in several ways the very first means of donation came from a telethon conducting in 1983 by founders Marie Osmond, John Schneider, Mick Shannon, and Joe Lake. After the success of the telethon with nearly 4.8 million dollars raised, many large corporations joined in the efforts to provide resources for sick and injured children. Many high-name corporations such as Marriott International, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Cosco, Dairy Queen and Ace Hardware are leading participants in donations. These donations are done in the form of tournaments, relays, telethons, and various other marathons. One of the most well-known forms of donations is done though the CMN paper balloon sales. nursing homes or helping to paint a neighborhood school. Since we are a nonprofit organization, we rely on fundraisers for our funding. Some of the fundraisers we have are car washes and selling donuts, cookies and pizza.
I chose “Feed the Hungry 5K Run” for Leisure Personal #2 assignment on Thanksgiving at California State University, Sacramento. At first, my friend and I wanted to do “individuals” because it was cheaper than a team registration and we don’t have enough four members to form a team. Later, there was more friends to join in and we decided to form a team and came up with the team name “Hungry Runners” which fits the event purpose. After we registered and each member paid 55 dollars which would benefit families in need in Sacramento County, we could get a bid which would time our race and a shirt with our team name “Hungry Runners” on right sleeve. This was the first time that I have ever engaged in this type of activity and the goals were to donate and experience the event atmosphere.

Within my school, I was Co-president of the National Junior Honor Society group for our school’s annual Parking Lot Party (PLP). For this project, I, along with the help of my other officers, led a group of students to create a set of games and activities for the PLP, which came out with very good results and lots of smiles from the students who both played the games and volunteered for them. From this experience, I have learned how much I enjoy planning an event and seeing it executed successfully with positive results on my community, and I hope that I can continue to do this in YAC.

My organization will reach to local by the e-mails and the website. We will advertise for my organization in the newspaper, magazine, schools, and also in the bars. This organization is not focusing in getting money; my goal is to awareness people of the danger of over drinking alcohol and to let them live healthier life.
Running an election campaign is very strenuous and time consuming. In many ways it is a balancing act. One must deal with maintaining public visibility, appealing to the voters, developing a platform, kissing disgusting babies, and meeting as many people as possible. However, one of the most important and difficult parts of the job is raising money. Money is necessary for all parts of the campaign, and without it, a campaign can grind to a halt. In this paper I will attempt to explain how a candidate gets the money to campaign.
Non-profit organizations can be divided into two types. Public non-profit organizations obtain most or all of their financial support through donations they receive from the general public. Some of these organizations, such as those that provide services or goods to the needy, may procure funding by fundraising in which they collect small donations from individuals who appreciate the organization’s goal. Other public non-profits, such as museums, may raise money by offering certain benefits in exchange for paid memberships.
The third step is promotion. There are so many different ways to promote, for example, flyers, local papers, social media, and blogging. Reaching out to community organizations, PTA groups, faith organizations, and libraries via written messages such as form letters or group emails is a great way to get donations or a drop-off location.
Fundraising can be termed as the raising of funds or money for a certain cause. It can take many forms, from sales and directly asking for money to organizing event for which people will make contributions. Fundraising can be done by an individual or organization, and usually relies on the good will of other to contribute what they can.
