The entertainment business started booming, producing legendary films starring well-known actors and actresses; like Bing Crosby, Clark Gable, Josephine Baker, and Jimmy Stewart. Grace Kelly quickly rose to fame because she captured the hearts of many and raised the standard of a typical woman’s life. Her recherché and flawless self-confidence launched Grace Kelly into the exciting world of fame, Hollywood! Grace Kelly proved to be an outstanding female figure that snatched loving hearts of fans through her early life experiences, her time in Hollywood, and her successful royal wedding.
Grace Kelly was born on November 12, 1929 in her home-town Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her father, John Brendan, was a proud holder of three Olympic gold medals for the U.S. rowing team. Also, he owned an extraordinary brick establishment. With his hard work and dedication he became a self-made millionaire. Her mother, Margaret Katherine Majer, was a coach for a women’s sports team at the University of Pennsylvania (bio 1). Grace Kelly divulged a deep-seated amorousness for drama. From time to time Grace Kelly would model with her sister and mother, but she spent most of her time reading lines for school and community productions. Her uncle, Walter C. Kelly, was a vaudeville performer in his youth and a Pulitzer Prize-winner for playwright, continually supported and mentored her yearning of the arts.
Despite her parents’ wishes, Grace Kelly pursued her chimera on joining the honoree’s on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after highshool. Kelly enrolled in American Academy of Dramatic Arts where as a student she would model in appear in ads and magazines, such as Cosmopolitan and Redbook. Grace Kelly left her mark on the world; leaving behind charisma and charm throughout her path. Grace Kelly became well appreciated not because of her titillating loveliness, but for her ability to achieve exact emotion, one that can pass on person to person through a big screen. She mastered the art of stealing your affection, which awarded her with thousands of screaming fans.
