The article, “A Bike That Can’t Be Stolen” is mainly about a group of students in Santiago Chile, who have developed a prototype of a bike called the Yerka. The students at Andres Bello University made this bike bike go it could be unstealable because there are so many problems around the world of people stealing bikes. The bike was designed with a lower frame that is opened up into two arms, that are connected to a seat post and then it can be secured to a bike rack. The only way that thieves could steal this bike is by destroying it and that would mean there is no more value in it. One of the biggest theft rates in Chile are stolen bikes, so these three student are trying to make a difference for there country and the world. Researchers said
that the only other way that thieves might not rob your bike is by it being ugly, but you never know with the world today. In the article, it specifically talks about three student in Chile who are trying to make a bike that could be unstealable. The students came up with this idea because a lot more people are starting to ride bikes in Chile, which means a lot more bike are being stolen. The three inventors are still testing the bike to make sure that nobody is able to steal it and they want to start selling them in 2015. The only problem is that they need a partner to invest in $300,000, so they can make the first batch of 1,000 bikes. In the article, a British writer Tony Hadland stated, “ Hadland explained, most anti-theft accessories have involved a device that is placed between spokes to prevent the wheel from rotating. Hadland added that those devices still allow the bicycle to be easily picked open by a thief.” This quote shows that a lot of companies have already tried to find a way of preventing people from stealing bikes, but none of the devices are thief proof. This is the reason why the group of students made the Yerka because there is nothing like it in the world today.
In Julia Alvarez’s poem “On Not Shoplifting Louise Bogan’s The Blue Estuaries”, Alvarez skillfully employs poetic devices such as imagery and personification to help convey the speaker’s discoveries. Alvarez’s use of imagery paints a vivid picture of the setting for the reader, allowing for a better understanding of the context of the poem, and a clarification of what goes on within the college bookstore. The use of personification highlights the significance of the special book of poems and its persuasive effect on the main character.
3) Stealing was very shameful so a mountain bike that was not locked would be
The media has come to dominate the lives of many of today’s youths. In The Great Imagination Heist, Reynolds Price expresses extreme dismay at the media’s ever-tightening grasp over the impressionable minds of adolescents. He sincerely feels that the effects of prolonged exposure to television, film, video games, and the Internet are detrimental to the development of a youth’s imagination and ability to think freely, without outside influence. The word “heist” indicates the intention to rob or steal. Price laments what he perceives to be the robbing of original, personal thought. He longs for the days when people read books freely and television was little more than a negligible aspect of our daily lives.
It is absolutely clear that you feel sad when somebody cheated and duplicate your own things. This causes many people to feel frustration and getting upset when they are facing this difficult situation. We know it is not a good attitude for students, authors, and anyone else to use something misappropriate that they didn’t belong it. I read an article that called “When the Story Stolen is Your Own”. When the author Sherman Alexie was writing this article, he was feeling nervous because somebody has stolen his article and use it in his own. Nobody didn’t believe him when he told the publisher that his story was stolen by someone and imitate that he belong it. Same as the students when they cheated each other and submit the same paper, it was one of the biggest challenge that happens some of the students when they are in the college.
In The Looting Machine by Tom Burgis, the author discusses corruption and the effects of corruption on Africans living under the resource curse, or Dutch disease. He also talks about a system responsible for the looting of Africa’s natural resources to benefit individuals and companies from Chinese, French, American, Brazilian, British, Israeli, and African elites. Burgis suffered from PTSD, which stemmed from the aftermath of the Jos massacre and other events he experienced in Africa. To cope with his PTSD, Burgis wrote down what he saw during his research, experiencing tremendous guilt in the process. Instead of his initial reasoning that the Jos massacre occurred due to “ethnic rivalries”, he started to see the real reason and how the massacre
Death states that, “I’m always finding humans at their best and worst. I see their ugly and their beauty, and I wonder how the same thing can be both” (Zusak 491). This book shows us human doing things that weren’t even imaginable before this point. Many people give into ideas that were lies. But, we also watch a few people go out of their way and sacrifice everything for a man they barely even know. They do everything they can to keep him safe and alive. They work harder, the get another job, and they even steal. In Markus Zusak’s The Book Thief, death examines the ugliness and the beauty of humans.

Vittorio de Sica's The Bicycle Thief. Since the beginning of its existence as a country, Italy has faced enormous challenges in establishing itself as a unified political and social entity. The geographic, economic, and linguistic differences between its various regions and the artificial manner in which they were amalgamated created a legacy of internal divisions that continues to dominate the country's political climate to this day. Italy's numerous historical fiascoes, such as its disastrous involvement in the two World Wars and the rise of fascism, further escalated the domestic problems that had haunted it since the Risorgimento.
Robert Bresson is a legendary French filmmaker whose films I've never wanted to see. His most famous work is about the miserable life of a donkey, and I've always expected his stuff to be dour and depressing and, well, pretty much this.
Biking today has risen to be a very good form of exercise but it is more than that people race both mountain bikes and road bikes around the world. Bikes have been included in both of the world wars and made a cheaper way for soldiers to travel farther distances than having to ride a horse. Bikes that could be rode without your feet touch the ground have been around since the 1860s. Since then great advancements have been made to them including easily adjustable gears and lighter materials to build them with such as aluminum, carbon fiber and titanium. These are all things that make the bike a great a revolutionary form of getting around with quickness and ease.
Some people believe that mountain bikes should be aloud in the wilderness some people do not. In my opinion I believe that mountain bikes should not be aloud in the wilderness

Identity theft is a non ethical criminal offence. It is when someone gathers someone’s personal information and uses it against them. Fraudsters usually get a hold of personal information using three methods: information given away, offline methods and online methods. There are many different type of identity thefts, which are categorized on what the criminal is using the identity for. Identity theft can be prevented if everybody knows exactly what it is and what they can do to keep their identity safe.
