There was a man with golden-orange hair and eyes dressed in uniform, along with some other men dressed the same way walking through a grey-bricked corridor. They soon arrived to a room with iron bars, obscuring the view inside. They had opened the door and on the floor of that tiny room was the golden-haired boy surrounded by a number of paper planes. He looked up at the officers, his face filled with surprise and fear. Two of the officers went behind the boy and struck him in the back, eventually pinning him to the ground while the man with the golden-orange hair picked up one of the paper planes. He unfolded it and read it while the boy was struggling to get up. Soon the man tore up the paper plane and let its pieces gently fall onto the floor. The golden-haired boy's eyes widened and his eyes followed the pieces. He soon screamed out of utter rage and got up, pushing the other two officers off his body. His hand balled up into a fist and he punched the man who had torn the precious little plane. Just when he was going to go for another punch, the two other officers grabbed him and dragged him off. The boy screamed and struggled to break free as his eyes filled with tears. …show more content…
My body could no longer move, and everything in the room was merely a blur to me. The sounds of people talking and the birds outside merely become cold empty sounds in my ears. I could barely hear or see anything anymore. I knew my end was drawing near.
When I had given the boy my final letter, I shouldn't have pretended to be so strong. I looked to the side of my bed, where I noticed a tiny baby-blue flower in a glass vase. I knew it was too late, but I longed to see the boy smiling somewhere. I felt one of his paper planes in my hand and thought of him.
I want to see you, I want to see
On September 11, 2001, Jason was asleep at his house he woke up as he heard loud banding outside. Jason got ready for work it was just a normal day. Jason has a wife her name is Jessica he also has a little boy his name is Jake. Jason's wife is going to have a baby girl they are going to name her Jerica. He went to the kitchen to get breakfast. After he was done eating breakfast he woke his son Jake up for school it was a big day for him it was his first day of middle school! After Jason dropped Jake of at school he was called into work. When Jason was called into work his day just went from normal to insane!
Now, after a about four months of these past conditions, I had woken up, sicker than ever, skinnier than ever, next to Cowboy munching away on grass. “I need to be found”, I yelled intensely. God heard me, when I started hearing a helicopter and heavy men coming toward me. I had been blurring out time to time, and I blacked out when they saw me. I woke up, staring up at my family and the men who rescued me. I knew then that I was saved.
The night was tempestuous and my emotions were subtle, like the flame upon a torch. They blew out at the same time that my sense of tranquility dispersed, as if the winds had simply come and gone. The shrill scream of a young girl ricocheted off the walls and for a few brief seconds, it was the only sound that I could hear. It was then that the waves of turmoil commenced to crash upon me. It seemed as though every last one of my senses were succumbed to disperse from my reach completely. As everything blurred, I could just barely make out the slam of a door from somewhere alongside me and soon, the only thing that was left in its place was an ominous silence.
As I walked through the door of the funeral home, the floral arrangements blurred into a sea of vivid colors. Wiping away my tears, I headed over to the collage of photographs of my grandfather. His smile seemed to transcend the image on the pictures, and for a moment, I could almost hear his laughter and see his eyes dancing as they tended to do when he told one of his famous jokes. My eyes scanned the old photographs, searching for myself amidst the images. They came to rest on a photo of Grandpa holding me in his lap when I was probably no more than four years old. The flowers surrounding me once again blended into an array of hues as I let my mind wander……
Misty-eyed, I fell to the ground, and the tears began to roll down my cheeks leaving the taste of salt on my cracked lips. The man stood up; I continued to weep in his presence until His hand graced my head, he spoke again but more calming, “Dry your eyes, my son.” I wiped my face, and he proceeded to speak, “I want you to tell the other boys a message from Me.” I nodded in acknowledgment, and he
...rt. I could taste real blood leaking out of my mouth. A bolt of lightning jolted every nerve within me and an aggravating pain caused me to collapse. I was shaking and by eyes bulged out as a sharp pain forced its way through every nerve and vessel in my body. My brain was closing; I knew this was the end. My intestines felt as though they were being ripped into thin strips and blood was gushing out of me like a fountain. My ribs were being crushed into powder and a cold air entered my half open body freezing every part of me, every cell, and every drop of blood. I was iced until I suddenly froze. My eyes were still open and I could still see a little. They went. They disappeared. They ran like the wind, rushed like the waves and vanished into thin air.
A boy stood over my desk. I did not know what he wanted, but I sure could not talk to him. I didn’t know him! How could I talk to him? I turned my head back into the safety of my book without a word and listened for his footsteps to walk away from my desk. Unfortunately, my gratefulness for his leaving soon turned to disappointment that I had missed an opportunity to reach out. I kicked myself internally, but moved on.
Am I dead? No, not yet! I felt gravity trying to pull me, my spirit, down, underneath the ground, trying to yank me away. No, please wait. Not yet, I begged silently and the force stopped—for now.
The end had come. I could stop; I didn’t have to fight anymore. With a delirious laugh, I stumbled into it, eyes closed, arms open stretched in anticipation of… Nothing. Disappointed, I opened one eye, then the other, my legs lay motionless. There was no light.
It is almost as though I can feel the Earth turning. As I resurface at the very last second, gasping for air the sound of the world overwhelms me. The bursts of colour shock my eyes. The fact that I can now feel the air on my skin and that I am no longer senseless is daunting. I am capable of noticing deeper, I see things I didn’t before.
I felt my ribs separate as an unimaginable feeling pervaded throughout my body. I was being eaten from the inside out. My eyes shut solid for eternity as my insides were taken from me, leaving the useless shell of my body dangling as a representation for the next victim’s
...ed eyes, vision growing fainter, body becoming paralyzed, and the hum of the hospital machines muting to a dull throb. And slowly I rise, rise into the escape of pure bliss.
shrieked the twins. My head started spinning and I became nauseous and then my body slumped to the floor, each limb growing weaker by the second. In less than a minute I was curled up on the carpet, stiff and unable to speak. The twins hovered over me and giggled at my weakened body. Suddenly, my body started to pixelate and transport into the
I felt like there was a weight on my chest, making it difficult to breathe. Oddly enough, even though I still felt like I was underwater, I was warm. My eyes fluttered open only to snap shut again. I must be dead, because there is no way I am living. I specifically remember drowning.
I was too shocked and confused to comprehend what was going on. I felt as if I was in a tunnel, slowly reaching the light at the end of it. I wanted to cry, sleep, run, and vomit all together. I was scared. I only realized I wasn't in some twisted nightmare when I could feel the stinging of a number being tattooed into my inner arm, and it seemed like the next minute I was watching my brown hair fall onto the floor in locks.
