Human existence has grown much over the years. There are 7.1 billion homosapiens on this planet recorded since 2013. We have advanced in technology, food production, and modern medicine. Our ecological footprint has a part to play in the way our natural ecosystem will flourish. Human presence on this earth can either make or break the natural world. I believe that the cause for global warming is man made. Man’s ecological footprint has an effect with global warming. Specifically through pollution, habitat destruction, and actual destruction of animals through hunting. First, let’s speak about pollution. Another example of our existence affecting the world, the constant wars we have on this planet and how it affects our ecosystem. Specifically the nuke that attacked Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945. The animals, people, and tree’s never wanted to be attacked by radiation. I would also like to point out the fact that in 2011, an earthquake of a 9.0 magnitude hit japan’s (man made) nuclear power plant. Animals that are raised for meat, eggs, and milk create greenhouse gases which contribute to global warming. Animals on factory farms create billions of pounds of drug laced feces. This waste get put into near by water ways killing many fish and pollution of the water. It takes about 16 pounds of grain to produce one pound of meat. More than 90 percent of the rainforest cleared since 1970 is used for global meat production. So becoming vegan doesn’t support factory farming and if you do not support factory farming they are losing business which means less
