As a part of the marketing mix, promotion is the method, or combination of methods used to convey the value of the product to consumers. Below are the four of the common forms of promotion and how GrainGoat could potentially utilize each.
• Advertising: Some forms of advertising are already being utilized. These efforts are best directed towards farm specific publications and websites.
• Personal Selling: This is currently being done at great lengths and will continue to be most effective in the early stages of the GrainGoat. Word of mouth advertising is done by the Bremmer’s and the advocates of the GrainGoat. Additional efforts should be directed in the social media realm, specifically with LinkedIn, where other agricultural professionals are currently networking.

Customer Relationship Management Strategies In order to achieve marketing goals, and clear and well developed strategy for customer relationship management (CRM) must be established. The strategy serves as the framework of how you interact with your current and potential customers, and directs the type of message and content you deliver to your customers. With only one product currently offered, GrainGoat is able to develop a CRM strategy this can have a very direct focus, allowing it to better reach their customers with a clear and concise message about the GrainGoat. The steps for a CRM strategy are as follows:
• CRM goals that align with the stated marketing goals: The goal is to sell 50 units in 2016. The product message as part of the CRM should be uniform to help achieve this
