Thanksgiving Compare and Contrast

Food, Family, and Fun!! Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States, always celebrated on a Thursday in November. There are many different ways people celebrate Thanksgiving. You give thanks and celebrate what you are most thankful for. Thanksgiving is a national holiday that has many different traditions, activities, and foods in different families.
Food is an important part of Thanksgiving. One similarity I have with people is that we eat green beans and mashed potatoes. Next, I share having corn and stuffing with a little bit of peers.Lastly, I share having cranberry sauce and mac and cheese with a couple of my classmates. There are many foods I share with my peers.

For my Thanksgiving, I stay home. Lots of my classmates stayed home like I do. Another thing that I do for Thanksgiving is having lots of family come over and eat. Many of my peers did the same thing as me. They stayed home and hosted family, which is good for me!
There were a couple of my peers that said they went to someone's house or something of the sort. Someone didn’t have any family over and they just stayed home with their immediate family. A couple of my peers said that they went out of state for Thanksgiving. A lot of my peers said that they went to a family member's or friend’s house. No matter where you go, it is still Thanksgiving.
At my Thanksgiving, we start by watch the Thanksgiving parade. Which, a lot of peers said they watch the parade as well. Another activity I do is talk to my family about random topics.
