All children should and need to have loving support. “Students thrive when they feel supported, engaged, nurtured, and challenged in the classroom (Newman, 2013)”. If a child is nurtured and show attention he/she will flourish and go further than a child/children who does not receive the attention. “Children have tremendous potential for success if they are provided the same support and guidance (Hjalmarson, 2011)”. Students need the loving support of their parents, caregiver, teachers, school counselor, church leaders, and mentors to have positive outcome.

As an educator it is our duty to make sure we provide a safe and welcoming environment that foster loving support. My main goal is to instill the desire and the love for learning in them. “Social support plays a key role in enhancing general mental health and successful coping strategies (McGrath, 2014)”. Teachers should work with parents/caregivers to provide the loving support the students need and by doing this will keep the parents/caregivers involved.

Parents/caregivers will play an important role in loving support. They will teach their child to be responsible and to help them stay focused on meeting their goals. The parents/caregivers will teach their child /children to be respectful toward their teachers. When parents stay actively involved in what is going on in their child’s class the child/children are less likely to get into to trouble because, he/she know his /her parents will find
