“So I Ain’t No Good Girl” by Sharon Blake begins with a girl waiting at the bus with other girls. She despises when other girls or boys stare at her, making her character seem rude. Throughout the story the author Sharon Blake makes her seem rude, pitiful, and she is most described as bipolar. She has a boyfriend, who tends not to care about her as much as she does. Throughout the story she builds herself to become stronger; and her character’s personality changes. Her weakness overlaps her strengths. She cares about her boyfriend too much, while he doesn’t. Sharon Blake made this girl seem rude and a bit of disconsolate in her. “I can’t help it. I get mad all over again.” This quote shows how her emptions change overtime, and how she might tend to seem bipolar. Although she gets mad frequently, she can remain calm. She also seems to have much hatred for other characters in the story, including herself. “I hate ‘em just the same.” This quote is an example of the hate she has towards the other people. The main characters’ personality changes here again, making her seem rude. When they finish arguing she lets him go, and says she’ll tell the teacher he’ll take the test another day. Raheem begins to walk behind the bus, towards a corner. The bus began to move, when she looked back to see him one last time. When she turned around, she saw a devastating moment. She saw that Raheem was standing in the corner with the redhead. She began to lose her temper, and began yelling to the bus driver to let her out. This is also an event that the author could’ve changed to make her seem less aggravating. “Raheem all up in her face.” This quote from the text shows that he doesn’t care about her, the way she does. She sits back down, and ignores what she saw. Later when Raheem comes to her house she’ll pretend like she hasn’t seen anything at
