Research Methodology
4.1 Meaning of Research
The word research is composed of two syllables, re and search. ‘re’ is a prefix meaning again, a new or over again. ‘Search’ is a verb meaning to examine closely and carefully, to test or try. Research is a structured enquiry that utilizes acceptable scientific methodology to solve problems and create new knowledge that is generally applicable [43].
Steps in research process:
1. Formulating the Research Problem
2. Extensive Literature Survey
3. Developing the objectives
4. Preparing the Research Design including Sample Design
5. Collecting the Data
6. Analysis of Data
7. Generalization and Interpretation
8. Preparation of the Report or Presentation of Result-Formal write ups of conclusions reached.

Here we find the economic perspective and engineering perspectives to solve the problem and techniques. It is mostly done for large problems to estimate the complexity and scope to solve the problem.
5. Comparative Studies
If two techniques need to be verified which is the best out of them a comparative study is done on features basis and type of research methods. It is quite useful method before launching a research.
6. Literature Survey Method
This method gives us understanding between what is known and what is still open. This is most useful method of research to explore others first and create a checklist of facts agreed and disagreed based on researcher knowledge.
4.1.2 Research Methodology Used:
In this dissertation the research methodology used is Experiments based Comparative Study. A comparative study has been done by implementing the web performance testing tools.
