1.1 Reflective practice in adult social care is the proccess of looking back and analysing interactions and incidents at work to help us learn from experience. Reflecting is a way of being aware and mindful in our actions. 1.2 Reflective practice is important as it helps me identify areas that I need to improve on, so that I can learn from my own experience, improving areas where required by taking a course, or gaining information from a repitable person. This helps to ensure the residents are getting improved quality of care. 1.3. Standards of care are used to ensure the correct care is given. However, when feedback is not posotive, people can react in different ways, showing signs of anger or upset.
