Have you ever changed your hair color? Have you ever changed your hair color by yourself? Most people go to beauty salons, family members or even a friend when they want to change their hair color. If you have dyed your hair before, you most likely know it is not as hard as it may seem, and there is not that big of a difference between spending $77 or more at a beauty hair salon versus $25 or more and doing it yourself. First, decide what color to dye the hair. Next, get all the materials you will be most likely using like a mirror, a newspaper to protect areas from staining, a shirt you don’t mind getting dye on, a towel you don’t mind staining, and getting wet, and a pair of gloves, preferably nylon to protect hands from hair dye. Place hair into as many groups as you would like, and only leave the hair you are going to apply first down. When you start coloring its essential to know that, you start from the back hairs. Then, start the application from the middle of the hairs to the tip. Do not apply dies about an inch from root because the root is easier to dye later on. Next, you apply it to the side hair, the same process as the back hairs, and then to the front hairs the exact same way. Last will be the hairline. Every time you apply hair dye to your hair, you comb your hair to spread color equally. At this point, apply enough hair dye all over. It all began my freshman year of high school when I was told about elective classes that would help me decide what I wanted to be when I grew up.
