Recommended: A brief look at bullying

ATTENTION GRABBER (Skit of Jaime teasing and making fun of Rudy, then Rudy becomes sad and depressed and goes to the corner.) On average, at least 20% of kids like Rudy are bullied in the country. How many of you have been bullied at least once in your life? It sucks.
CREDIBILITY-Being bullied myself, I conducted hours of research to find the reason why people stoop so low to pick on others.
THESIS- Bullying is a big issue in todays society as it is common for people to pick on others
PREVIEW OF MAIN POINTS- Todays issues will include the topics of: i. The problems of bullying, ii. The reason bullying happens iii. Ways to prevent or reduce bullying

Sad right. Now imagine if something like happens to someone you care so dearly, is now gone because someone was being a jackass bullying them. Bully is not a laughing matter and should not be tolerated.
Transition- What can cause some one to be so stupid and tease others
MAIN POINT 2- Bullies themselves go through some hardships which cause them to pick on others.
Statistics show that one of many reasons why one to becomes a bully, is the lack of love they receive from there family.(BullyStatistic,1). If someone does not feel loved or cared for, it can cause jealousy for those who does receive it.
Other reasons include the bully is attempting to fit into a crowd. With social conformity going on these days, people are willing to do anything to fit in.
The bully may also be experiencing a seen of low self-esteem.(Ha,1). The bully may encounter someone who seems better than themselves and so then in order to feel better about themselves the bully targets the
