My first job as a Tutor It was hard to say goodbye and farewell to those memories and precious friends. It was the last day in my high school. My classmates including me were emotional as we did not know whether we might meet each other again after that day. We had to choose our own destination and apply to colleges. Some of the girls cried, hugged each other and took some pictures. Our class had a group chat on Viber. One of my classmate girl named Prasna said to everyone, “this group chat has to be forever”. She probably said this because she never wanted to forget all of us and to stay connected. Viber is where we chat, make fun of each other and discuss about assignments. We used to play soccer every weekends. Likewise, when there was a champions league match on TV, we watched and woke up till 3am. Soccer is one of the most popular sport in Nepal these days. There are few fields available to play but they are all not in proper condition. Most of the time, we used to play indoor soccer and had to pay some amount for that. So, every time we went to play, there was cash outflow from our pockets. Most of the time, we used to hang out and go to different places that money was flowing so fast without realization. At that moment, I felt guilty as I was spending too much of my parent’s money. So, money became an issue for me. I realized that I needed a job so that I don’t have to ask my parents for money. I tried to find jobs in newspapers but nothing was interesting for me. These jobs required a person with some job experiences and bachelor diplomas which I did not have.
