He did not tend to have good friends and if he did, they didn't stick with him very long.
We all know about NASA right? Well they just got a multi billion dollar endorsement from Thomas Mark, the founder of the first genetic copier. So a vote was decided and Lyons Creek Middle School in south Florida was one of the seven schools picked. As the students gathered in the bleachers, the Principal came up and gave a speech, followed by a representative from NASA. Then the head leader of the Adolescent Space Training Program came out and announced that Josh was the student selected, along with six others from different schools. He couldn't believe his ears, as he tried to keep self control. It was a very emotional night for Josh. Instead of reporting to the classroom that morning for instruction, they were to report immediately to the simulator. They put on their suits and took their seats. They heard the door slam as usual but then lock. Outside Josh could see Mr. Tisdale’s smirky little grin as he stood in the next building behind the soundproof glass as he waved. Loud ear deafening noises were heard and then Josh’s head forced back into his seat with the force of gravity as the rockets fired. He suddenly realized this was not a

Suddenly one could hear a pin drop. Abruptly the classroom door burst open and Cho walked in and raised a Glock 9mm handgun. (Friedman)
A bead of sweat trickled across my neck like an ice-cold drop of rain running down a windowpane. I stood anxiously, juxtaposed to ten of my fifth grade classmates on a dusty six-inch high platform, each of us in our lint-free suits, as I stared forward to meet the unforgiving eyes of the students and teachers of Main Dunstable Elementary School. A steady stream of parents entered the gymnasium, and I heard chatter as parents and kids conversed noisily with each other. I felt my throat tighten and wished for the emcee, Mrs. Paradis, the principal of our school, to take up the microphone and begin the ceremony.
On my trip to Churchill Middle School I was paired with a sixth grader named Finley Kane. Finley takes eight classes every day and it placed in Accelerated English and Accelerated Math. These classes are more advanced classes for the students that are ahead of the rest of the grade.
Ever wonder what happens if everything changes in a blink of an eye? On June 3rd, 2016, I graduated secondary school. That night in my middle school gymnasium, the administrators had organized a celebratory party in the graduate’s honors. I remembered dancing the night away with the people I held so dear to my heart for nine years. The strobe lights shining and music blaring while we were staring at each other with content. We parted ways at the end of that cheerful night. We were sad to say goodbye, yet we didn’t know that some us were saying goodbye to each other for ever to go lead different lives apart from each other. At the time, I knew that moment will always be a highlight of my life but later I came to know that it was also a catalyst for change. Although freshman year and half of sophomore year brung hardships that have come and go, the experiences have changed me for the better throughout the year and a half.
That evening, on the bunk bed in the cramped college dorm-like room, Tyler said something he'd never told anyone else. And that night, laying lazily in the somehow nostalgic room something Josh shouldn't have said slipped out to Tyler.
During my four years at Martin County High School I feel that I have made a major impact on the school and most importantly, the community. I have dedicated most of my time helping my trainer with her volleyball technique class and teaching younger and sometimes older kids how to play volleyball. I have also spent my time helping my sick friend, Susie after she has had many surgeries. I enjoy helping out my community whenever and wherever it needs the help.
The school looked so different empty. He dragged himself and his backpack to the back of the bus. It was dead silent with everyone’s eyes on him. There was barely anyone there, and he didn’t know anyone. No more than a minute later of sitting there, he heard someone. “Hey, new kid,” the voice said as he looked up. Before Paul managed to tell her that he wasn’t new, The large bus driver shouted at her to sit down as the bus jerked forward.
Every day that I walk through Pineville High School, I feel as though I am receiving some sort of a lesson. “When I entered the classroom, for the very last time, I looked around at every little detail, many of which I’d probably ignored, for the past four years. Birds were singing in a synchronised melody as they flew past our classroom window. There was the natural aroma of fresh coffee coming from the teacher’s lounge next door. My classmates were sitting at their usual desk waiting for the first lesson to begin. But something was different today, something wasn’t right. And as I entered the classroom it hit me, like an unseen rocket headed to my heart…
