Has anyone ever wanted to travel to Mars, or even just visit space to see Earth from above? Those things and a vast variety of other things are possible through the development of new technologies that carry the human race through time and make space exploration possible. “The whole idea of getting to know space and its secrets and how it can benefit mankind is what space exploration is all about” (“Space Exploration” 1). Throughout time, the human race has been very curious about learning more in depth about the unknown, from the first discovery of fire, to the new views on life, to space and sea exploration. In the present age space exploration has become a top priority in understanding unanswered questions. These upcoming understandings of new technologies benefit our Earth and life through advancements in technology, science, and medicine. Space exploration has become very popular in countries all over the world, and each country strives to better understand the earth and its surroundings and to develop technologies that change the world forever. Space exploration costs too much, and instead that money could be used to better benefit life on Earth. “If the approximate amount of money ever used by NASA (roughly $780 billion) was used to fight world hunger, no one in the world would be hungry for 26 years” (“Is Space Exploration A Waste” 1). Instead of exploring space, a more reasonable priority would be focusing on medical issues and coming up with cures for them, like cancer. Even investing in saving the rain-forests or working to benefit life on Earth would be a better investment, instead of exploring empty space. “A lot of scientists say we are certainly facing serious problems here on Earth now, and they are getting wors... ... middle of paper ... ...popular in countries all over the world, and each country strives to better understand the earth and its surroundings and to develop technologies that change the world forever. With the new generation of young people having the will and ability to pursue space exploration, the better Earth will benefit from the research. Space exploration has been a key factor in saving millions of lives through the medical research it provides. Even though it costs millions to pursue, it will benefit the human race now, and in the future. With countries becoming more active in the space program, countries are creating new forms of educating people each year. As long as the human race lives on, space exploration will be an enormous priority, and nothing will stop the exploration of it, and the further expansion of the peoples knowledge and will to find out what really is out there.
