Personal Narrative: Courageous Faith

Samson was a judge who lived on the land of the Isrealites. After reading the chapters from the book, "Courageous Faith. I have learned a lot of information that I did not know before. From Judges chapter 13 through 16 we have seen that God was the one who chose Samson to be a judge. I have chosen Samson because I can relate to him more than the others. One difference that I found between Samson and I is that all the obstacles that he went through, I did not go through. Samson's life was planned by God. It was not a choice that he had made personally, and yet he violated all the restrictions during his life that brought him into a very tragic end. To say, I have learned a lot throughout that relationship. The relationship had me disobeying my parents and God. I was more in a relationship with the boyfriend than I was with God. I have realized that I have put God out of my life because I chose someone else over him, but through it all, God was always there for me. It was not too late, I realized that I was blind, that I was heading in the wrong direction, and I got on the right track after several people have talked to me about what is right. The guy was not the best guy for me because our relationship was not perfect. Although, I graduated high school with a 3.8, that was only because God was there for me. After high school, and after breaking up with my ex boyfriend. I have grown mentally, spiritually, socially, and academically. God has open doors in my life wherever I go. I started to read God's word and following His ways, then I realized that there are no better relationship than a relationship with God. I was similar to Samson because I have rejected God's way, and for all of us who are in this class, I will encourage you to stay strong, and to never give God up for anything. God's has changed my life
