Intro: We have learned a lot this year. All the things we have learned all fold back to planning for the future. Not just getting in the college, but also studying for anything. The things we have learned were GPA, Learning Style, Mindset, Academic Honesty, Time Management, and the THOrT Map. GPA: First of all GPA stands for Grade Point Average. Your GPA is a reflection on your academics standing and are put on a scale that ranges from 0.0 to 4.0. Your GPA is so important because college/scholarship programs will need a certain GPA to offer admission and give financial aid. There’s 2 type of GPA: Un-weighted GPA and Weighted GPA. It’s basically how you learn new things. It is important because it helps you with new materials and study them. You have 7 different learning styles. You have visual, auditory, verbal, physical, logical, social, and solitary learners. Visual: They learn by facts. They have to see it, to believe it. They benefit from using charts, maps, and notes.Auditory: They learn by hearing. They benefit from having soft background music when they study. They can’t have it too quiet like the library. Verbal: They have to learn new material by hearing the information being spoken to them.Physical: They are hands on type of people. Role-Playing help them learns the material.Logical: Logical learner is practical thinkers. They like to ask a lot of questions.Social: They work well in groups. They value what people say about their work.Solitary: They like to work alone. They will work ahead of people. Especially if they think it’s easy to them.
