Franco's regime lasted from 1939 until 1975 and featured a democratic deficit that led some basque nationalist to demand a violent response against the Spanish authorities. Spain among Franco`s regime and giving some other examples on fascist regimes as Germany and Italy there were some similarities but also major differences. By resemblances with fascism is considered the Franco regime but had its own approach. anyway i would like to explain the differences between the Franco and Fascism. The differences between the Franco and fascism are the following; Fascism for a nation is to reborn and create social order. what follows to unify all military thinking and structure to civil society, a total mobilization. Franco also prohibited the existence of opposition parties but the party itself had different political currents. The regime consisted of conservatives, monarchists , Carlist , Catholics and phalanges . ( Oskam and Safon 234-235 )
Fascism in Germany and Italy had a clear ideology and a dream of a utopian future , as the empire of 1000 years. In order to realize that dream was necessary to demand people that was more in force in a political sense . Franco wanted to break with the restore democracy and economic and political situation before of the founding of the republic. He did not need the people out more active in the political sense, it seemed better than the people shut up. ( Oskam and Safón 1993: 234-235)
During World War II Franco it suited to fascism and left him at the end of the war to approach the world
