Rachel makes her way across the walkway towards Ceribro. Nerves bubble inside her but she knew she had to do this. Somehow, seeing how Avalanche feared for Mystique made her miss her mother more. She could sense the care for his mentor whenever he spoke about her. It wasn't a sexual relationship, more like a mother/son relationship. It surprised her, but she had to get them back together; no matter what. She goes onto her knees and removes a panel from the floor, revealing a tube of purple, there is no other way to describe it, goo. From school, Rachel remembers this being a compound of ISO-8 and a few other chemicals. A switch on the side of the tube was in the off position, blocking the flow of ISO-8 to the computer. She takes a deep breath and puts it on her head. Instantly, Rachel feels her powers being drained. She squeezes her eyes tight to keep tears from spilling out. She feels the entire world being telepathically connected to her. Millions of psychic signatures fill Rachel's head. At first they are all cluttered together, but after awhile she learns to shuffle through them. First she separates the mutants from the humans, then she is able to divide them into different groups. She is going through the mutants in Virginia when she finds Mystique, along with other mutants, in a governmental facility on the outskirts of Richmond.
