Alexander the Great who was also known as Alexander of Macedonia was one of the most memorable figures and influential person in history because of what he did. People believed he was a fearless conqueror and a fearless ruler too. Alexander the Great conquered a large part of the ancient world in such a short period of time, it took him about 10 years. He was a courageous man and had a great ability to find really good tactics to beat the enemies and that helped him to win most of his battles. All his battles were just impressive and he became the inspiration for other conquerors after his death. Thanks to the inventions of my grandfather and one of his scientists’ friend, I had the chance to know how he made possible the extension of his I grow up watching my father winning all his battles and I always wanted to be just like him. After my parents’ divorce the relationship between me and my father was not the same. When I was participating on my fathers’ battles I felt like he was jealous because I was doing well and I had good tactics to defeat the enemy. I also felt like he was not giving me enough credit for my actions even though I was doing great. I was working really hard to be like him but I think he did not wanted me to be better than him. I think that the way he reacted about my success in battles took me to challenge myself and overcome him. ATG: After my fathers’ death it was not easy for me to take over the throne, because there was always another heir that also wanted to take that place. During that time everyone would do anything to take over the throne. I was one of them, so I killed my opponents. I executed my cousin Amyntas IV and two Macedonian princes. I did not killed my half-brother because he was mentally disabled, so it was hard for him to take my fathers’ place as the king of Macedonia, so he was not an obstacle for me to remain in power.
