I firmly believe that everyone should learn how to code as technology have become part of our lives. I’m planning my persuasive speech on you should learn coding. I want my audience to believe that coding is essential not only for computer science or any other computer majors, but it’s also linked with their career. I’m not persuading people to become a coder or change their majors. My goal is to persuade people to learn coding, coding is a technical skill, having it will be advantage for them. As technology have progressed in the past decades all the work is being done on the computer in medical, business, and engineering fields.

Here are some main points I will be covering:
• Need of programmers and opportunities?
• Why is it important to learn how to code? Not because of the need but as technical skill, it makes you think critically, develop your problem solving skills, and creativity.
• How it’s linked to every field?
• How does it make you a perfect candidate for a job?
• Where to start learning?

An understanding of coding helps people learn new strategies for solving problems and harness the power of computers to realize their own visions, whatever they may be. No matter what job you are going to do, you will be surrounded by technology, whether you are a scientist, fashion designers, doctors, journalists, lawyers, musicians, or any other major. you can benefit from a greater understanding of how to use computing. For example, if you are in business major and work at a bank where you handle multiple accounts. Going through thousands of account can be painful, but what if you have some coding knowledge and you can write a program that will do it for you. Coding is pretty much everywhere.
