A veterinarian’s life
Parents can only give good advice or put you on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in your own hands. In my future I hope to be successful and to be dealing with the things I love, animals. My goal is to never have to worry about not being able to pay the bills or have that little extra money for my kids to be in whatever activity they dream of being in. Becoming a veterinarian has been a dream of mine and looking into this research it's going to be difficult and competitive, but not impossible.
According to www. Bls.gov, veterinarians care for the health of animals and work to improve public health. They diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and animals. Usually vets work in private clinics and hospitals, others travel to farms, work in laboratories and classrooms, or work for the government. There is a variety of jobs you can choose between while being a veterinarian. To become a vet you will need to go to college and achieve a doctoral or professional degree. It is not easy becoming a veterinarian, but because of the variety of jobs it comes with it is a great accomplishment in the long run. …show more content…

It can run from $39,020 to $118,430 depending on where you work and how long you have been working. It is very important to have hands on experience ,which of course comes with college time. The skills you should have are appreciation of animals, interest in science, good manual dexterity, good communication,people, business, and time- management skills.
