Mindfulness Meditation
When was the last time you visited a museum or viewed an art exhibit? Do you remember the feeling?
Wandering a museum or through an art exhibit can whisk you off to another land… that heavenly little place where you can find peace and quiet. As you observe the paintings up close, you cannot help but bask into the creativity of the artist whose works leave an enormous impact on your mood… whose colors influence your emotions.

Peaceful, calm, and gentle, the soothing blue helps calm your mind, lower your blood pressure, and reduce stress and anxiety. Blue symbolizes truth, patience, honor, wisdom, and devotion.
The images of the earth, trees, plants, pastures, and everything about nature automatically comes to mind when you think of the color green. Green is not only a soothing color but also a refreshing one. It symbolizes nature and growth, hope and stability.
The color white stands for clarity, cleanliness, freshness, and purity. The color pink is known as a healing color which peacefulness helps soothe various energies in a room to promote balance. The color yellow makes you feel lively and energetic, signifying happiness, cheerfulness, positivity, and brightness.
The color violet is associated with meditation, which is why it is one of the colors that symbolize peace, especially inner peace, and wisdom. You might want to avoid gray which is a dull, boring, and depressing color, and black, which symbolizes darkness, nothingness, and mourning.
We paint from our own experience of peace to be able to paint a sense of peace and calm. We want people to feel at ease, relax and meditate as they view our paintings. Indeed, we also meditate as we paint and who would not when you deal with
