Many people speak of a word called “perfect” but don't know the real meaning of the word.”Perfect” is used to describe something that has no flaws whatsoever. Nothing is perfect.Even the world is not perfect. We all have flaws that can bring us down. Many people think that the word perfect means something. But it doesnt. I think perfect is a word with no meaning because nothing is “perfect”. You may think you got close but you really didn't everything has flaws weather there minor or big there still there and they're not going away.Just like in societies. If one thing goes wrong then everything turns into a nightmare. and one of the main reasons that societies all over the world fall is because of corrupt leaders, at war too much, and religious freedom. These are the biggest reason why societies fall. Many leaders have made laws to keep them in power and benefit from them and the laws that are created aren't for the peoples sake.they make laws and also where made so that only the leader would benefit like creating higher taxes brings more money to the leader or controlling the army or military would allow a person to take controll over an area. There is a lot of reasons why society's fall but i can't name them all. There's mainly 4 categories why a society can fall. Politically, socially, economically, and geographically. If even one of these fell then the whole system would crash. We need to take action and learn from the past societies that have fallen and take them as an example of why great society's fall.
A great example of a society's fall because of corrupt leadership is the fall of the roman republic.Rome was in a great depression with money and politics.not enough money was coming in and people where in poverty and furiouse that t...

...that only they can benefit from such as higher taxes. Also they will lie and say that they will do all these things to make the socitey better but once there in power they dont and act like they never said that. Also being at war to much is another reason. What socities dont consider when they go to war is that its just may be over something minor that can just be resolved by talking. Also a war is not cheap espically if you lost. You have to pay for equiptment and people to fight in the war and somethimes people will be payed to fight in the war which means higher taxes. Also you have to pay the winning side money. Finally the last reason that socities will fall is because of religious freedomes.Take these past great socities that fell because of a few flass take that into consideration and use them as an example of what we can do to try and make the world a better place.
While it takes a lot to build up a society, it doesn’t take nearly as much for it crash and burn. One simple flaw can weaken it, and three added together will ruin the whole thing. Even the greatest societies can fall as the result of political corruption, war, and social injustice. These three have negatively affected Rome, Greece, Uganda, and even the fictional society in Matched by Ally Condie.
During the last century of the Roman republic, the system of government was drastically changed and eventually fell apart, not only because of Marius and his military reforms, but also because of the dictatorship and proscriptions of Sulla, seven consulships of Marius, political alliances of the first and second triumvirates and the growing corruption and ineptitude of the senate.
The fall of the Western Roman Empire was the first example in history on the collapse of a constitutional system which was caused by the internal decay in political, military, economics, and sociological issues. The government was becoming corrupt with bribery. Commanders of the Roman army turned their own army inward towards their own Constitutional systems, fueled by their own ruthless ambition. This paper will talk about how the violence and internal turmoil in 133B.C.-27 B.C. was what provoked the economic stagnation in the city of Rome and to the end of the Republic and the many corrupt politicians and generals who only thought of nothing more than personal gains and glory. The senate lost control of the Roman military and the reason they rose against the senate was because the senate were no longer able to help manage the social problems or the military and administrative problems of the empire. The economics of the Roman Empire soon hit rock bottom due to the high taxation to support the army. Gold was also eroding since Rome was no longer bringing new resources through the expansion. Emperors then tried to mint coins out of silver and copper instead and the end result was inflation and dramatic rises in
The Failure of the Roman Republic was inevitable as it was an unjust system of government and it was left vulnerable after the attempted changes instigated by the Gracchi as the Gracchi exposed the weaknesses in the political structure allowing future politicians to manipulate the system. The changes made by the Gracchi left the Republic in a state of pandemonium as it destroyed political stability as well as creating opportunities for future individuals to rise above and challenge the system.
Societies such as Greece, Nazi Germany, and the society in Maze Runner fell due to a Corrupt government, a failing social structure, and sickness. Although not all societies fall because of these reasons they are main contributors to a society's downfall.Mostly societies fall due to whoever is leading them, like in Athens they were told to retreat inside of the walls which lead to an outbreak that killed ⅓ of the city’s population.Although trying to make a “perfect” society never ends up working out, we can learn from our mistakes and always try to make ours better. As I once said, “It is not possible to create a perfect society for imperfect beings.”

People from the past wanted to eradicate all the parts of the human personality that put the world in disarray. I do not think the factions are working toward a better world as they say they are, because if you remove parts of the human personality, you force people to conform, and forcing people to conform always eventually ends in a violent revolution. It seems that the society has done a good job of making conforming citizens that obey and do as they are told. The society does not seem to know how to deal with those who do not conform or those that do not conform well enough.
The Roman Republic ultimately failed due to the lack of large-scale wars and other crises that had united the Roman populous early in the history of the Roman Republic. Roman leadership and honor became compromised. In the absence of war and crisis, Rome’s leaders failed to develop the honor and leadership necessary to maintain the Republic.
Social apathy was beginning to spread throughout the empire. The majority of citizens were neglected forcefully excluded from political participation, rejected from the army and had no other choice but to live off the land (Document 4). This oppression towards the people caused many citizens to feel like the old civilization was not worth saving (Document 4). Furthermore, corruption and turmoil grew in the political system of Rome. From 235-285 C.E Rome lost eight emperors to assassinations (Document 1). The government’s desire for money became more important than its job to protect its citizens. In Rome wealthy lawbreakers go unpunished, while the poor were forced to undergo their chastisement (Document 6). The state was beginning to lose three virtues it was built on: patriotism, discipline and devotion to duty. The lack of these three values weakened the social and political systems.
The combination of inter-class conflict and a series of rising military strong men starting off with Julius Caesar and then to his son Octavian later named “Augustus” all contributed to the fall of the Roman Republic. The thirst for power in an unequal class system created enmity between the rich and the poor and even between the different factions of the poor. This essay will explain the major factors of the struggle of orders between the two major classes.
State level societies are a type of “class society [that] are often rigidly stratified into social levels, [where] the ruling class controls the populace not by consensus but by coercion and force” (Feder, 344 - 45). This society type is a form of government, structured with rules and regulations, including punishments for disobedience. There are many causes for a society to gradually transition into becoming a state level or more stratified society. Those of which will be briefly discussed throughout this short essay.
What is “perfect” society? My own view of a perfect society is when people are sharing and loving each other, laughing, living happily, working together, with everyone’s best interest equivalent to each person’s best interest. There will be no pain, no crime, no corruption and no anger. In my perfect society, people will be raised in caring and loving community, with higher education to help them encourage freethinking. There will be no disclosure to greedy or decadent cultures. Instead of it, people will be surrounded by happiness and joy.
To conclude, Why Nations Fail is a simple novel that explains the authors view on why our world is the way it is today. Some countries are abnormally rich and powerful while others are left in the dust. Although some of their points are vague and don’t necessarily come across as simple reasons, they do a great job at trying to sum down this huge question into a well written novel.
In today’s society, a job is necessary. Many people get up every morning hating what they do, but as the working class people we have to learn to live with it. Not everything we do we will like.
