Immigration should have a balance between closed and open borders because it is not moral, ethical or humane, it keeps people in their place, they do not use all of the resources, they help the economy and they should have no obstacles in their way. An open border helps the European Union not only helps the country, but everyone else in different ways, such as economic, bringing in immigrants, making everyone have ties to different people in the world, and with everyone feeling togetherness and more comfortable with other cultures.

Open border is a border that enables free movement of people between different countries in the European Union with limited or no restrictions to the movement. This is important because people need to see the advantages and disadvantages of open borders before they come to any decision that might affect the country because they want open borders. I believe that I will find a lot of advantages that have to do more with the economic point of the European Union rather than the culture of the European Union. I believe that I will find a couple of disadvantages that have to do with the culture changing not for the better in the European Union.

There are various types of open borders and different countries have different policies than others when it is about open borders. Some of the different types are conditionally open border, controlled border, and closed border. A conditionally open border is a type of border that allows a little bit of movement with people going across the border but those people meet a certain set of conditions that allows them to move like that and the government says that it is alright. Another aspect that this border type has is it requires internal checks and internal enforcement within the jurisdiction to make sure that any people who have entered the jurisdiction are in fact following any type of condition that certain country might have and that they are not overstaying to reside illegally or become someone that will fall off the radar. The government wants to make sure they know everything that the people are up to in their country which is where the term controlled border comes from in the different open borders. If there is a lack of something or if the borders are land borders, often the border can only be controlled on certain parts of the borders such as some parts might be opened to such a degree that, it may be considered as an open border because there is a lack of supervision and enforcement.
