Yu-Gi-Oh is the best trading card game ever developed! Yu-Gi-Oh is a popular trading card game the lets the player, or known in the game as the “duelist” to summon monsters, activate spell cards, and traps cards. Yu-Gi-Oh was created by Kazuki Takahashi, a manga artist who said the reason he created the trading card game was because “I've always been obsessed with games. Certainly as a kid, and even today, I like blackjack and board games like Scotland Yard. In a game, the player becomes the hero. And that's the basic premise for Yu-Gi-Oh” (Cullen). Players are able to come together with their friends and imagine their “henshin” (the ability to become someone else). It is a difficult task for some to come up with the necessary strategy to …show more content…
The simple answer is that Konami is able to hook the younger audience while the older audience is still learning new mechanics, for example “if veteran players have to relearn the game while new players are learning it for the first time it creates an atmosphere that entices those new players to stay” (Allen). The unique card game allows new and old players to enjoy the challenge of playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Moreover with the newest addition to dueling being the introduction of the pendulum zones to compliment the newly added pendulum summoning, and its new pendulum monsters, a monster spell hybrid, players have a new way to strategize and build new decks like never before. Pendulum summoning creates a new mechanic to the game by adding two new zones call Pendulum zones, a blue and red one. These two new zones are placed between deck and grave and the extra and field on either side of the field. The new pendulum mechanic cards will have those same symbols on them called scales. Pendulum monsters each have its own pendulum scale or number on the side of the card, These scales represent a level, when you place both pendulum monsters, one on the left zone and one on the right zone this is called setting the scales. When you have both scales set you can pendulum summon or on t Players are able to special summon monsters from the hand if they are between the pendulum monster scales like never

“GameStop traces its roots to Babbage’s a small software retailer that started in Dallas, Texas in 1984. The movement that made Babbage’s into GameStop started in 1994 with a series of mergers between Babbage’s and several other software retailers. When Babbage has first merged with software Etc. in 1994, the combined company was named NeoStar Retail, but the two halves continued to operate as if they were separate entities.” (Gamestop Corp, 2013) At the time when the company first started out, they acquired just 800 stores for now. Atari was the first commercial video game company with hits like ‘break out” and “pong”. For many people pong was the first video game they have ever played. The idea of pong is that there is two rectangles that only move up and down and a little square that bounces around the screen until one of the rectangles miss, once the rectangle miss’ the game is over. This game may seem simple now but it sold 19,000 units so you can say what you want but back then this was the greatest game ever.
In the hilarious 2009 blockbuster hit The Hangover, “the three best friends that anyone could have” need to find a way to get the money they owe Mr. Chow in order to have the groom to be, Doug, returned to them. Phil, Stu, and Alan devise an intricate scheme that uses card counting while playing Blackjack to win a lot of money. The scheme uses many distractions such as Stu, and his stripper wife, acting as a distraction as well as Phil making lots of noise and obscene gestures to the cameras of the casino in order to bring attention to him and allowing Alan to do the card counting and win the money they owe Mr. Chow. When the casino managers begin to become suspicious of the possible card counting that is going on, Stu’s recently married stripper wife falls to the floor causing the security to focus on her giving Alan and Phil time to escape unseen with all the recently won cash. This scene, although entertaining, does not accurately portray what goes on when someone is card counting in these big time casinos, such as the one seen in this movie, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Card counting is much more subtle and not such a big scheme as it is portrayed in this very funny movie.
Considering the advantages and disadvantages of the game, anyone who has played the game would agree that it’s a good and very fun game that is very good for social functions and just for friends and family spending time

Field information reports more commonly known as “street checks” or “carding” is an investigative tactic used by police officers all around the world but more commonly in Ontario. This tactic occurs when a police officer will make a stop on an individual walking or standing on the street who appears to be engaging in suspicious activity. Then the officer will provide the individual with a receipt or card with the officer’s information (MacLellan, 2015).
