INTRODUCTION
How do you report child abuse? What happens after the abuse gets noticed? Why does this happen in today's society? These are all questions we want to be answered and with the right information. Who knows, we could save a child's life. We all know or have met somebody who has been a victim of child abuse, we may just not know it. I am the expert because research shows that in 2015, seven million child abuse reports were filed, which is quite a jump from the six million in 2014, according to American SPCC, a child abuse statistics website. The problem is, too many children are getting hurt by this act of abuse known as the ”Youth Killer”. Another way to solve this is to teach new parents ways to discipline a child without damaging their self-esteem. The last way to solve this problem is to teach people the signs of the four kinds of child abuse so the abuse will be noticed faster and the child might go through less pain. Although these are all great solutions there is one that gets the job done faster, teaching people the many signs of child abuse. This is the best way to stop this "Killer " because if people know the signs you may be able to end the pain before it is too late. For example, if a child was being physically abused, they either will be on the lookout for the abuser or they will have bruises and welts on their body (According To Petiet...). This means that people will know when to report cases to Child Protection Services. Step 4: Finally, learn how to calmly talk to the child when they have done something wrong during the last session.
This will most likely need a huge amount of human effort because first, it would have to become a law and that can take a long time also the cost of meeting with a social worker might have to go down because maybe some parents need more sessions than others. Although this could take a lot of work, in the end, it is all worth it.
VISUALIZATION
Imagine a world where adults and children could get along without there being a “Youth Killer” on the loose. Once my solution is in effect people will know what physical, sexual, emotional abuse and neglect are and know the signs and symptoms of them. Child abuse rates will be expected to fall down dramatically because families are learning how to better discipline their child and learning how to appropriately use their money, however, this “Killer” will not be completely wiped out but the rates will shrink dramatically. This result could take many years to come, this is because it would have to become a law which could be a long process, but also if there will be an increasing need for social workers around the world because there are many new parents every day.
