Yoko Ono The Daily Beast Summary

Yoko Ono spoke to "The Daily Beast" in a new interview on Wednesday, October 14, that her late husband, legendary Beatles' member John Lennon, was attracted to men. The 82-year-old artist was discussing the notion of sexual fluidity and shared that she and had conversations about their sexual preferences.
The 82-year-old artist said that the beginning of the year John was killed and he said to her, "I could have done it, but I can't because I just never found somebody that was that attractive." She added that both John and her were into attractiveness.
The Japanese-born Ono said she doesn't think John ever sealed the deal because he never found anyone who reached his high standards of beauty and intellect. That was before he was assassinated

in 1980.
"I think he had a desire to, but I think he was too inhibited," she said. "No, not inhibited. He said, 'I don't mind if there's an incredibly attractive guy.' It's very difficult: They would have to be not just physically attractive, but mentally very advanced too. And you can't find people like that."
The couple believed bisexuality was innate. But most people kept it secret because of societal norms.
She told the Daily Beast, she and John had a big talk about it, saying, basically, all of us must be bisexual. They were sort of in a situation of thinking that they we’re not bisexual because of society and so they are hiding the other side of themselves, which is less acceptable but she don’t have a strong sexual desire towards another woman.
She also opened up about a long-swirling rumor of a romance between Lennon and Beatles manager Brian Epstein. She said, Epstein likely "made a move" on her husband but the legendary lead singer "just didn't want to do it" with him.
